Jungkook POV
"Hyung, are you sure about this? I don't wanna take your bed from you." I question for what feels like the millionth time. Jimin just smiles at me, leaning over and pecking my lips once again.
"Jungkookie, I promise it's fine. I want you in the bed. Okay? Now please. It's late and we've got school in the morning. You need some rest." Jimin says with a smile, ruffling my hair gently. Sighing, I give up and stand.
"Fine. I'll go to bed." I mutter with a small pout, mildly frustrated by the fact I'd lost. Quiet honestly, their sofa is quite comfortable. I wouldn't have minded sleeping there instead of the bed. Tae really wasn't joking when he said that Jimin is super stubborn.
"If you need anything, I'll be out here and Tae will be in the room next to yours. Don't be afraid to wake us up, Jungkookie. I'll get you up in the morning." Jimin informs me. I merely nod before going into the bedroom. Leaving the door open just a crack, I quickly change into a pair of clean sweats before climbing into bed.
In all honesty, I'm really surprised with how today went. I never would've thought that I'd actually get this far. I'm actually dating Jimin hyung... That's something I would've told you were impossible. That I'd never have a chance and that I couldn't let anyone in that closely to begin with. Now? I'm dating him, I'm living with him and my only other friend Tae that I'd made at the café, and my grades are hopefully improving.
Smiling to myself, I curl up in Jimin's bed under his covers. The bed even smells like him... Within seconds, I'm fast asleep too.
"NO! STOP! STAY AWAY! PLEASE! IM SORRY!" I jolt awake with wide eyes and heavy breathing. Looking around the room for the source of the sound, I find nothing but that I'm in an unfamiliar room.
"NO! PLEASE! I DIDNT MEAN TO! IM SORRY!" My eyes widen as I recognize the strained voice. It finally clicks that I'm laying in Jimin hyungs bed in his room, that I'm staying at his and Tae's shared apartment. Realizing that Jimin must be having a bad dream, I quickly hurry out of the room and into the living room. Just as I'm exiting the bedroom, Tae is stepping into the living room as well. He and I share a look before Jimin's going off again.
"PLEASE! STOP! I SWEAR! IT WAS AN ACCIDENT! STOP! IM SORRY!" He screams again. Biting my lip in worry, I rush over to him with Tae hot on my tail. Not thinking, I quickly begin shaking Jimin as I kneel down in front of him. He's thrashing around, sweat clinging all over his entire body, and he looks so pained.
After minutes of shaking him, he finally snaps awake. However, the moment he does, Tae wraps his arms around my waist and picks me up. My eyes widen as I begin jerking around in his arms, attempting to break free of his hold while he's dragging me away from Jimin.
"Tae! Stop! What're you doing?!" I yell, wanting desperately to go over and hold Jimin and comfort him. However, Tae just slaps a hand over my mouth.
"Not yet, Kookie. He's gotta completely wake up and collect his bearings first. Otherwise, you're gonna get hurt." Tae whispers softly in my ear as he holds tightly onto me in the kitchen. I can feel myself crying, wanting nothing more than to go comfort the older boy. Though, for now, all I can do is watch and whimper quietly until Tae decides to let go.
After some point, Tae finally releases me, and I'm by Jimin's side within seconds. Sitting down beside him on the sofa, he looks over at me with teary eyes. I don't hesitate wrapping my arms around his waist, pulling him into me as he collapses in my arms and starts crying again. Squeezing my eyes shut tight, I try not to cry even more as he sobs. Nuzzling his head into the crook of my neck, he wraps his arms around my waist as well. He sobs and whimpers, his body shaking with each sound he makes whilst holding onto me tightly.
"Shhh. It's okay, hyung. It's okay, Jiminie. You're alright. You're okay. It's okay. You're safe. I'm right here, Jiminie. It's alright. Shhh. Calm down." I whisper softly in his ear, trying everything in me to hold myself together and provide him as much comfort as possible. It takes a while, but eventually I finally manage to get him to calm down with Tae standing in the kitchen and watching from afar.
"Feeling a bit better now?" I ask softly, running my hand through his hair gently. He barely manages to nod his head in response.
"Come on. Why don't you go hop in the shower? Take a warm shower and then you can climb into bed with me. We can cuddle till you fall asleep." I suggest quietly. Jimin merely nods once more before dragging himself up onto his feet and silently going into his room to his connected bathroom.
