I was born into a Protestant Christian family, and for quite some time this polarised my views. However, this is what it is and just like everyone else, you can't choose the circumstances of your birth, so how the hell can one possibly criticise another's faith?
To me, birth is just another aspect of chaos.
As a point of interest, this view conflicts with the idea fostered by some, that whilst residing in heaven you chose the destination of your birth or it is chosen for you.
To others, this is seen as a form of Retribution (a punishment) or a means of experiencing another unpleasant facet of existence to gain Redemption for their sins in an earlier life.
Fortunately for me, my family wasn't particularly religious, or secular and consequently my upbringing wasn't terminally prejudiced by either view.
