Kendall’s POV:

I checked myself in the mirror one last time. I was wearing a purple-pink H&M top, denim booty shorts, black braided sandals, and a black beanie on top of my long red hair. Stuffing my phone in my pocket of my shorts, I slipped on my Jimmy Choo sunglasses and walked out of my flat. As I walked out of my flat’s building, I was bombarded with at least a dozen paparazzi. All throwing several questions at a time.

“KENDALL, IS IT TRUE THAT YOU’RE PREGNANT AND IT’S HARRY’S?” No.

“KENDALL, ARE YOU PREGNANT AND IT’S NOT HARRY’S?” Hell no.

“HOW ARE YOU DEALING WITH NOT SEEING HARRY FOR THREE MONTHS?” I miss him like crazy.

I didn’t answer any of the questions. Instead, I just got into my car and drove away. Where was I driving to? Well, I’m going back to Holmes Chapel for a few days. My suitcases are already in my car, so I am now on my way to the airport. When I finally got there, I walked through my gate and through security. When I boarded the plane, I saw that I was seated next to a middle aged woman. She looked like she was in her late twenties, had dirty blonde hair, and dark blue eyes. She was sitting next to the window, so I sat next to her. “Hello,” she smiled as I sat down.

I smiled back. “Hi,” I said.

“Why are you going to Holmes Chapel?” she asked.

“I’m visiting my mum,” I said. “You?”

“My son and his family,” she responded. She then looked at me and asked, “You look awfully famliar. Have I seen you before?”

I shook my head. “No, I don’t think so. Though, I guess you can say I’m in a couple of magazines. I’m dating Harry Styles. You know, of One Direction?”

A look of recognization flashed over her face. “Ah, yes! My niece loves that band. You’re dating the curly haired lad?”

I nodded and smiled. “Yes. I’m Kendall.”

“Nice to meet you, I’m Lily,” she grinned. “I have to say, you two are an adorable couple!”

Before I could respond, the pilot’s voice came. “This is your pilot speaking. Please strap in your seat belts as we prepare for take off.”

We did as we were told, and a few minutes later the plane started moving and we were in the air in a matter of minutes. I turned back to Lily. “Thank you,” I smiled. “He’s on tour, so I thought that I should visit my mum and his family.”

“He’s from Holmes Chapel too?” she asked.

I nodded. “Yes. We grew up together,” I smiled.

“That’s sweet,” she smiled. She looked down at my left hand and asked, “Is that an engagement ring?”
