29th December
Lily,
It was boxing day when I heard what had happened to you. My manager came in with some emails he'd received from fans. It's always nice to open fan mail, there were the usual of 'I love you so much Ellie' and 'Elena Jane Goulding you are perfect' but then my eyes fell upon an email from your brother.

Attatched ItemsEllie Goulding,
Hello, my name is Archie Anderson and I'm contacting you not because I'm you're biggest fan, but because on Christmas Day, my sister Lily committed suicide.
In the days leading up to her death, she wrote a letter everyday to you about what had happened. She'd always dreamed that you'd read them but she knew that it was too far from reality.
In truth, I don't expect you to read this either, but it took me such a long time to write this. It's difficult with Aspergers and the social worker had to help me with it alot so please.
And don't just read this for me read this for Lily.
thankyou
Archie Anderson
Attached to this email are the letters that Lily wrote to you before she died.
I sat up and wiped the tears from my eyes. I couldn't express the emotion that I felt for you and your brother. After taking a deep breath, I began to search frantically through the fanmail to find the letters. There were 6 sheets of paper with your letters. I read them all. I had tears streaming down my face when I'd finished.
The next day (27th) I decided to email back to your brother.
