Y/N's POV
Friday morning...
Incoming call Ari 😍
The whiny noise of my phone jolts me awake from my deep sleep. The pretty face that appears on my phone is the only motivation I have for picking up."Hello?" I rasp out. "Hi baby. Did I wake you?" I hear Ariana's lively voice through the other line. "Yeah, but that's okay. It's good to hear your voice," I say genuinely.
Ariana's silent for a second but continues, "could you be any cuter?" She giggles. "I- uhh," not knowing how to respond to that she cuts me off.
"Hey listen we're still on for tonight right?" Shit. I forgot about our date. "Yeah, of course! It's my last night working though but I think we'll have fun." (In case y'all forgot they had a date planned Friday... to go to y/n's place of work)
"You work at a club right?" I only take people who I wanna fuck to the club but Ariana means so much more. At first my little flirty comments were just meant to work her up but they soon meant so much more, for both of us. "Yeah, hey listen we don't have to go. I can just meet you after words. Plus I'm gonna be working for an hour and I wouldn't want to bore you."
"Y/n, I wanna come. It's a club so we can just stay and drink..." I can hear the hesitation in her next few words. "maybe... go back to my place after.
Good thing we're on the phone so she can't see the vibrant blush painting my cheeks. "Yes, t-that sounds good. I mean only if you want to," I say again to make sure she knows what that would mean for us.
I expect her to possibly change her mind but she just giggles and reassures me, "I'll see you tonight baby." With that she hangs up.

Tonight...
Ariana's POV
Y/n says to meet her at the club that happens to be walking distance from my apartment. I can't wait to see her, hug her, kiss her again. I get butterflies just thinking about it. We never really talked after our kiss. I just left and said I'd see her later.
