"We have to make sure to show her batman before tom gets any chance to show her any version of spider-man, movies or cartoon." Harrison mumbles into your shoulder, yawning a little.

You could only laugh sleepily in response, squinting at the sunlight entering from the small gaps between the curtains. You wanted to roll around and face him, but due to the sizable bump now, you couldn't.

Mornings were given to sleepy daydreaming for you two. Talking about things, hoping and wishing how they would be like, before it had been about what you wanted to do with your lives, the places you wanted to visit with each other, the things and ideas you imagines, the works he wanted to do. The sleepy conversations made waking up every morning worth it, even though half of the sleepy mumbling were forgotten the moment you actually woke up and started the day. It was sweet and pure and full of love and adoration you had for each other. These days however the subject of your daughter was what dominated both your sleepy musings.

"Babe I don't really think that matters, I'll make her watch Mulan before either of you gets her to see batman or spiderman." You had finally rolled over with a little struggle, and now lay face to face with Haz.

Grinning sleepily, he went "how dare you replace batman with Mulan?"

"Coming to more important topic, we need to get started on the nursery." You yawn, tired even though you had just woken up.

"Yeah, I know, before the furniture we need to get the room painted."

"I can help you with the paint job."

"Sure, meanwhile why don't you try vaping." His sarcastic tone sent you in a fit of giggles, regardless of your amusement, he continued, "you're an idiot if you think that I'm letting you paint anything. The last thing I want you to have is a lungful of paint fumes."

"We got the non toxic kind." You run your hands through his hair. Picking the shade had been a fight. He wanted to go with a bluish theme, while you wanted to go with a dusty rose colour you've fallen in love with. In the end of course, both of you compromised and went with the dusty rose shade. You were the boss right now in the house, so you got your wish.

"Look at me not caring. Harry and I can manage." Harry has been helping you guys a lot since Tom had to leave for some work in L.A. that boy was a bit miserable about leaving, claiming that was because he will be missing important godfather duties, but you knew it was cause he will miss Bianca.

Suddenly the phone started to ring, groaning, you almost tried to get up before you realized it was Harrison's phone, not yours. Happily you flopped down, while he got up muttering about people who start calling other people before 9 in the morning.

"Speak of the devil," Harrison said before he received the call. You knew it was Harry from the one sided conversation. It had something to do with a new project. You'd listen more but you kind of dozed off, until you feel the bed dip beside you.

"Well, that's settled." Harrison stretches out, his hands slowly pulling through your hair.

"What's settled?" you yawn, not sure what he was talking about.

"We will start on the paint job tomorrow." He nuzzles his face in your cheeks, placing random kisses on your face.

"I'll help with the stencils." You say, completely forgetting about his previous protests about paint fumes.

"Ha, good try. But we can handle the stencils."

"Are you sure? You tend to struggle with Christmas lights." You laugh. That was an interesting christmas for you.

"Excuse me, those lights were extremely tangled, and they were just being mean. And in any case, I called in Bianca, she can help us with the stencils." He huffed in annoyance, never liking it when you brought up that Christmas light incident.

"Well, then what am I supposed to do?" you ask helplessly. The truth was, as someone who liked to do things on your own, these past couple of weeks you felt absolutely pathetic. You were not supposed to walk around or do a lot of work, due to some problem relating to blood clot; the doctor explained it in details but you kind of zoned out. You felt sad and useless, and it was not a good thing to feel during pregnancy.

"Covered that," Harrison says letting out another yawn and flipping on his stomach, staring at you with those pretty eyes of his. "I called in your mum; you are having lunch with her."

"Ok." You finally get up, with a bit of a struggle and a fair bit of cursing, but get up nonetheless.

"Hey," Harrison gets up with you, sitting up facing you, "what's going on? Tell me."

"What's going on, well, I feel useless that's what's going on." You felt like crying, but at the same time wanted to hurl something at the wall.

"Come here." He knew better than to offer you any advice during these times, he knew you'll work through this on your own, but your reaction surprised him.

"No, you know what, in a few more months, I'm going to be so fucking huge that I won't even be able to see my toes. Hell I can't even paint them now. I need help to even put on my shoes. And I feel pathetic and useless." You would go on with your tirade had you not started crying.

No words were needed as Harrison just hugged you, silently rocking you back and for as well as he could, while you cried all your frustration out on his shoulder. Being pregnant was not all miracle of nature and beauty of life. It was fucking frustrating, and you had just began to understand that.

"I know you are pissed but hear me out. I know it is frustrating, and I am not going to say I understand, cause I don't and if I say it I have a feeling that you'll get angry with me," he says, letting you go, making your brows furrow at him as he begins to speak, "but think about our little girl. I know you are beyond frustrated, but baby, our little girl." He gently rubbed your bump, which he usually doesn't because he knows you get a bit squeamish whenever someone rubs your belly, but this time he couldn't help it.

You think about his words and nod you head in agreement. It was true, you were beyond frustrated. But when it came to your daughter, you could go through with this for a few more months. "Okay. You're right. I'm sorry for being so prissy." You smile at him sheepishly, a bit embarrassed about your outburst.

"Hey, you don't apologize. It's perfectly fine. Come here." He hugs you again, "you know, since you love work, you can change all her diapers after she is born." This makes you punch him on his back. "ow, where is all that strength coming from, i thought i was the only one going to the gym these days."

"Must be all those burgers." You say, thinking about the lunch you had yesterday, simultaneously groaning, "Ugh I need burgers now."
Rolling his eyes Harrison gets up from bed, "I need to talk to the doc about your eating habits."

"Don't you dare do that." You follow him out of the bedroom, ready to start the day, but not before having burgers for breakfast.
