As I walk into the foyer, I nearly bump into Jungkook's chest . I back up a little and look up to him, happy to see him.
He blushes a little, waving slightly. It's kind of odd with Jungkook because he doesn't really talk in person, but he likes to chat over the phone. It's like me being with him, makes him nervous.
I asked Yoongi about it once but he said Jungkook was just shy around girls and that he's never actually had a girlfriend before, but I'm not allowed to mention it.
I give Jungkook a quick hug as a greeting before saying a quick hello to everyone else.
After I've said hi to everyone, Yoongi starts handing out the drinks to everyone.
Only Jungkook and I don't have one.Everyone gathers down on the couch and Jimin starts setting up some video games.
I see Jin walk into the kitchen and, deciding that I'd rather help out than play video games, so I follow."Hey, Jin."
I say as I walk up to him. He raises his head from chopping up some vegetables and smiles at me, happy for the company.
"Want some help?"He smiles again and slide a cutting board towards me with some carrots on it.
"Could you dice those up? But before that, ask where they keep the wine! Beer can taste so bland sometimes..."I giggle a bit and nod, walking into the lounge room again to see Taehyung and Jimin versing each other in some first person shooting game.
Jungkook is sitting alone on a recliner a little bit away so I decide to ask him where the drinks cupboard is.I walk up to him quietly, secretly hoping to scare him.
Ever so carefully I rest my hands on his shoulders, trying to be creepy - surprised, both because of how muscular he is and he didn't flinch even a little - and lean down to his ear.
"Jin wants some wine. Could you please tell me where you keep it?"He blushes a bit and avoids eye contact but nods none the less. He leads my to a little cupboard in the dinning room and leans down, picking out a desert wine.
He rises back up and hands it to me."Thanks, Kookie!"
I say cheerily as I turn to leave.
All of a sudden I feel his hand grip onto my wrist.I turn back around to look at Jungkook, who looks scarily serious. I try to laugh it off and pull my hand away but he doesn't let go.
"Kookie? What's wrong?"In a flash of light he pulls me by my wrist to his chest, resting his hands on my waist almost like in the supermarket, only now, he seems more like a man on a mission.
When he speaks his voice is low, deep enough to send a chill down my spine and a blush to my cheeks.
His words don't help that situation."You know..." he says, rubbing my waist in a circular motion with his thumbs.
"I'm not a child. I'm as old as you. I'm an adult..."I start to get kind of uncomfortable, just in case he decides to show me just how much of an "adult" he is...
I look anywhere but his eyes but he catches my chin in his hand, bringing my head up to look him in the eye.I feel the tension build up between us, but just as Jungkook is about to say something else, a voice calls out to me from the other side of the room.
"Hey, Y/n. Jin wants his wine and a hand with the carrots."It's Yoongi, wearing a face like thunder, staring Jungkook down, often shifting his gaze to the hands in my waist.
Jungkook let's go, blushing a little from getting caught.
"Sorry, Hyung. I distracted her..."Yoongi scoffs, leaning himself on the door frame in a cold manor.
"Don't apologise to me. It's Jin who wants his wine."I look down to the bottle in my hands and tense up a little bit.
I can't believe I forgot! What an idiot, I am!
I thank Jungkook again for helping my with Jin's wine and walk back into the kitchen to find Jin already steaming the carrots and peas.
