The Wait

Matts POV

The rest of the guys came over and sat down by us, they all looked confused at the sight of a random strangers baby in Cameron's hands but then shook it off and continued to wait. "Hey could you hold her for a min Matt, I'm going to go and see if there's any new information yet." Said Cameron." Sure." I replied back. As I took that little girl into my arms she was so light. She looked liked she was undernourished. I started to worry wouldn't this little girls mom try to be looking for her by now, there was no signs of anyone reporting a missing child on security's walkie talkies. That little girl started to shiver we were in an air conditioned room so it was a bit chilly and she did't have a blanket either. So I brought her closer warped her up in my sweatshirt and hugged her close. She then started to fall asleep in my arms. I looked around from where I was sitting, and I saw all of the other guys on their phones probably on twitter or snapchat. Some of them got up and call their parents what was going on. My mom was probably worried about because I haven't called yet. My phone was in my back pocket and I was sitting on it and if I moved I would wake the baby up so I just decided to ask Nash if I could you his phone to call my mom. He said "sure". I dialed her number, and she picked up on the first ring. She said "Oh my gosh I am so glad your ok Bart called all of the parents and told us what was going on as soon as it happened." I said "yeah mom I'm fine I thought I should call you and tell you I was ok myself or else you would be freaking out!"

Cameron's POV

I asked Matt to hold the little girl for a little while so that I could see of there was any more new information. I decided to just go into where the event was being held. I walked in and just stood there stunned. I saw 2 body bags I thought the mom I hope it's not her. I went up to a police officer and asked what was going on. He told me "This is a crime scene please leave." After a little bit of explaining who I was he gave me a little information. "We caught the guy who did it, sadly 2 dead but no one injured." I saw the stroller in the front and asked. "Could I please have that stroller please." He gave me a confused look and asked why. I told him about the guy in the back how when the gun went off someone pushed the stroller to the front with a baby in it . I told him that I saw and took the baby so she did't get hurt. He said that was fine, I went grabbed th e stroller and took it back with us. Once I got back I saw the little girl sleeping in Matts arms. He looked over and saw I had the stroller I asked " Do you want to put her in." He said "no it's ok". I started to go through the stuff to see if I could find anything even just a name or hair color or something. The diaper bag had nothing in it but there was a purse thank The Lord. I saw her wallet and opened it, it was a picture of the lady and 2 girls as one appears to be the baby girl. I went though it a little more and found her drivers license, yes finally something I could work with. Her name was Amy Burkland, ok so that's a start. I went thought it a little more and found insurance cards great so the baby's name was either Amber or Bridget. But by the big engraved B on the side of the diaper bag I figured it was Bridget. I looked at Matt and told him her name by then the baby woke up and Taylor asked to hold her. After 30 mins or so all of the guys got around to holding her and I could tell they were all instantly in love with her. But we're still waiting to her about her mom and her sister. Where are they?
