"Good morning! Table for how many?" Matin Cafe/restaurant is a cafe in the morning, and a restaurant at noon and evening.Working at this cafe/restaurant is always so refreshing. It's always very busy working here. I usually stay home a lot, so talking to a lot of people isn't really my thing. "Right this way" My legs sore most of the time from walking the whole day everyday. "Can I get you something to drink?" I just realized I need to drink water. My throat dries up from always working, since this cafe is pretty popular. "Okay, I'll be right back with your drinks" Ugh, I need to use the restroom.
I go in the kitchen to go get the customers drinks. "Haven" By the way, Haven is my name. The girl with a weird pink frizzy pigtails is my co-worker, she's the cashier. Her name is Danny. "What." I said "Damn girl, calm down." "I just said-" "Anyways, you look tired" "...." I'll just ignore her. She's also 16 years old who's supposed to be in high school, but she dropped out so she can start working full time. I start to get out of the kitchen to give the customers their drinks until... I notice a dude with a black hoodie and jeans with white sneakers running across the restaurant for some stupid reason bumps into me, and the drinks end up spilling on me and on the floor. "Oh shoot, sorry ma'am" "I-it's okay" He got some napkins from a table near him and helped me wipe the mess HE made. I got gloves and picked up all the broken glass. "Danny, can you give the customers at table 5 their drinks" "Sure thing" Danny said "M-miss, I really am sorry... I just had a rough date awhile ago" I look at him, and he didn't look that bad. I felt a little shy and said "it's okay, you can just leave me for the cleaning. You should run after her." "Really? You sure?" "Yeah, Go ahead. Although, I do expect you to come back and help me." "Huh?" "W-well, it's compensation for the broken glass you broke" "Ohhhh, ok ok, I promise I will come back...hmmm... maybe tomorrow?" "Sure" He ran off to catch up to his girlfriend, and I kinda felt lonely. I just met him, and I'm already crushing on him... there must be something wrong with me. Anyways, I finished cleaning up and took a break. I took my apron off, and grabbed my black backpack. "Okay, I'm gonna go home now. Have a great night guys." "BYE!!!" Danny shouted My other coworkers waved goodbye to me.
I get out of the restaurant, and went into my broken down truck. As I drove off, I saw the guy and his girlfriend sitting on a bench at a playground. They looked like they were having a serious conversation.
I just passed by, and went straight to my apartment. I unlocked my apartment door, and I see my corgi running to me. "Hey, penji boi, how was your day?" I said while petting his head. -bark- I chuckle and sigh "Well, better than mine"

I took a shower, changed into my panda print onesie, and went straight to bed. I covered myself with my blanket, and tucked Penji with his very own blanket. "Today was strange, penji boi, there was this dude I just met... I can't seem to get him out of my head"
Penji boi tilted it's head in confusion.
"It's okay, you don't have to understand. I still love you."
I played some sad piano music, and started to fall asleep.
