I hug penji tightly, and hugged him as long as possible.
"I'm sorry, penji, I guess this is for your own good."

We then went back home so we can prepare Penjis goodbye party.
We arrived home.
While I was calling my family about it, Ford was there with me. Comforting me by placing his hand on my back, gently patting it.
While the phone was ringing, my heartbeat got faster and faster not knowing how my family will react. They all love Penji, and they know I love Penji the most.
"Hello? Mom?"
"Yes? Did something happen?"
I look at Ford, and he nodded.
"Well... yeah, something did happen."
I explained everything to my mom, and she sounded sad. She knew that Penji was the one who kept me company, he's like family.
"Well... we'll be coming to you then.."
"Mom? Are you sure? I know how you have bad luck with airplanes."
"If it's for you, I'll do anything even if it means death."
"...ok. Mom... I love you."
"I love you too."
We ended the call. I then sigh from the tension.
"You did good" Ford said.
I nodded.
For some reason, I have a bad feeling... I wander why..
I saw Penji laying down on the couch, and I sat next to him.
"I guess it's time now after all these years..hmm... Penji."
I can tell penji didn't have the energy to respond, but I knew that he said that it was time. I space out looking at the ground... I'll be lonely.
It has become night, also my last night with penji. This time I had to carry him around... cause he can't walk anymore. I placed him on the bed.
And said our very last good nights.

It is now the day... the day Penji will be no more.
Ali, Ford, Jae, yuro, and I are here to say goodbye to penji.
Ali went up to me "I'm sorry about penji, he was a energetic and loving dog... I'm sure he'll watch over you."
I gave a sad smile... "thanks"
We ate our food, and gave a big group hug for Penji.
I wanted Penjis last to be at this house, the place where it was only us. Where we comforted each other, and played together through our saddest and happiest times.
The doctor came to our house to do the injection. Penji was lying on my lap, and I patted him till he falls asleep.
The doctor then injected it, and i was holding my cry... i forced a smile when penji was looking at me. I can tell he knew what was going on.
When the doctor finished, penji licked my hand. He wanted to comfort me, and so, I cried. Every tear dropped into Penjis fur. He looked peaceful, and finally closed his eyes.
I cry as much as possible, and hugged him till I felt his body didn't have body heat anymore. The doctor left respectfully, and patted my shoulder. He took penji, so that we can store him in a small jar for his ashes.
When everyone was quiet grieving for penji, I went to the bedroom. I locked the door, and sat leaning on it. I put my head down, and covered my face.
I whisper " Penji is gone" with a chocked voice.
-knock knock knock-
I wiped my tears quickly, and opened the door.
"Yeah?"
It was Ford "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, absolutely! Totally okay!"
I tried to walk pass him, but then he grabbed my arm.
"You're definitely not okay."
He pushed me to the room, and locked the door.
He hugged me tightly... "you don't have to hide yknow..."
He was the one who stayed by my side besides Penji... he even stayed with me in my unstable state.
He wiped my tears away from my face, and was about to give me a kiss until...
-BANG BANG BANG-
Someone knocked the door as loud as possible.
Ford quickly opened the door, and it was Ali holding my house phone.
"H-Haven, it's your parents..."
My heart stopped a bit "What?"
Ali whispers to my ear, and my body couldn't move as if it was paralyzed.
