This sort of takes place in cannon of the show... In no way connected to Sirens Of Midnight or TUR

Felicity and Curtis had decorated the Arrowcave in Christmas decorations, evening leaving a few Hanukkah decorations up. Of course, none of them were here to celebrate, they had all went home to celebrate Christmas Eve, leaving me alone in the cave. Being dead on this earth sucked.
I sat back in an armchair near the tree, watching the lights on it change colour.
Christmas on earth-2 usually meant I would have to spend real time with my mother and watch others spend happy times with their loved ones. Nothing is really different on this earth.
I heard the elevator door open, thinking it was one of the team members I didn't look over. "If you came to patrol, don't bother suiting up, it's a quiet night" I exclaimed.
"You could almost say silent night" I whipped my head around so see Malcolm Merlyn.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
Malcolm had been forced to flee Star City weeks after coming back from Lian Yu, no one except Thea and Oliver knew where he went. He's been missing since.
"Thought I'd come by, wish everyone a Merry Christmas, but it appears you the only one here" He walked over, playing with a bauble on the tree.
"Everyone left to wait for Santa" I said with a small smile.
"Why didn't you leave with them?" He asked.
"I'm dead" I replied, "And someone needed to keep an eye on any criminal activities"
"You don't like Christmas" He stated.
"What?! No! I love Christmas" I said defensively.
"Than why do you seem so glum?" He asked, stepping in front of me.
"Christmas isn't much different on this earth," I said, "It ended the same as it would on my earth, me sitting alone"
"Right... Your an orphan" He sat on the ground.
"I wasn't an orphan, my mom is still alive, but she's an alcoholic" I sighed, "So, I would spend Christmas alone"
"On this earth, no one is truly alone" He stood up, "Come on"
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"You'll see"

After taking Oliver's motorcycle and trying our best to only drive through alleyways, we reached one of the tallest buildings in Star City. "Alright, Merlyn, why are we here?" I asked, getting off the bike, looking around to make sure no one saw us.
"Just, hold on" He grabbed my waist before reaching for something. "I'd suggest actually holding on"
I quickly wrapped my arms around his neck as we started lifting off the ground, we flew past windows and started going higher and higher. I watched as the city lights became easier to see. We eventually reached the top and Malcolm helped me stand up. I stood in awe of what I could see. "It's amazing"
"One of my Christmas traditions with Tommy was to bring him up here and watch all the Christmas lights turn on" He explained. "We would sit up here and drink hot chocolate and just watch"
"Sounds homey," I said, "My father had the tradition of letting me sit on on the porch and wait for Santa"
"All night?" He asked.
"No, he would usually wait for me to fall asleep and bring me to my room," I said, "Still, it was special"
"I will confess, I haven't been up here since Tommy died" He sighed, "I thought I'd never come up here again"
"Than why did you bring me up here?" I asked.
"To show you this earth does have the potential for you, to show you, we do care about you," He said. "As much as you hate it, we actually like having you here"
"Thank you" I smiled.
"Your welcome"
We stood in silence, watching over Star city for what seemed like an eternity before the church bells started to toll signally midnight. "Merry Christmas" I whispered over to him.
He just looked at me before placing a kiss on my lips, "Merry Christmas, Siren"
Yea... I think I'll like it on this earth...
