Chapter 2

~Midoriya

I rounded the corner, and went under a bridge. I lost my footing and found myself on the floor, facing a giant sludge monster.
"Perfect, this vessel will do just fine." It purred.
I went to scream but it pounced on me, covering my mouth. I tried to claw away at it, I was being suffocated. I began to lose consciousness. The last thing I was was Bakugou turning around the corner to see the gruesome sight. The next thing I remember is laying on my back, looking straight up at the ceiling. A face suddenly clouded my vision. 'All Might?' I thought, 'Wait, ALL MIGHT!? THE NUMBER ONE HERO, THE GREATEST HERO OF ALL TIME!?' I jumped up and scrambled back, running into someone. I turned around and saw Kacchan glaring at him. My eyes widened and I jumped up and backed away. I stood turned around.
"Well, you seem to be moving just fine, young Midoriya, so I shall go" All Might said.
"Wait," I said despretely, "I am your biggest fan, could you please sign my notebook."
I grabbed my notebook out along with a pen. All Might quickly signed it and handed it back. I couldn't believe he was here.
"Now I must leave." He said.
"Wait, no. One more question. Is it possible, for me, a quirkless kid, to ever hope to be someone like you?" I said, tearing up.
"Look kid, you'd be better of choosing a more realistic path, one within your reach, like a police officer," All Might said, "Now I must go." He added, jumping off into the sky.

~Bakugo
Deku's dreams of becoming a hero were impossible, and I knew that, but hearing it from his number one idol, it must have been heart breaking. I wanted to hug him, to make him feel better, but my body was stiff. Deku turned around and faced me, tears running down his face.
"Deku, I-"
"Save it for later, Kacchan. After all, you heard him. The greatest hero in the world told me I'd never be a hero, so maybe its time to give up on my childish dreams." He said, cutting me of. He began to run off.
"Deku hold up." I started, but it was to late.
I felt bad now, for bullying Deku all these years, what have I done, if I hadn't have bullies him this wouldn't have happened. I turned down an alleyway to take the shortcut home. I kicked a bottle out of anger, and the lid popped of. 'Crap, isn't that the bottle All Might used to capture the sludge villain earlier. Too late.' I thought, as the sludge villain reformed before his eyes.

~All Might

'Crap,' I thought as I landed ,'That sludge villain took a lot out of me, I've reached my time limit.' Clouds of steam rose from my body as I turned into my true form. 'Well at least I got the-' I felt my pocket ,'Oh no, I must have dropped it.'

~Midoriya

As I walked home, I kicked pebbles out of anger. I couldn't believe what just happened. The person I looked up to since I was a kid, had just crushed my dreams. I heard a loud explosion which causes me to raise my head. Further up the street there were piles of thick smoke towering into the sky, And there was a large number of bystanders huddled around the entrance of an alleyway.
I ran over to see what happened. I shoved my way through, to see a large group of pro heroes fighting...
"...The sludge villain?" I said confused, "But..."
"It looks like he's got a hostage." I heard someone say. "Yeah, a high school boy" Another added.
I squinted, only to see something I wish I didn't. The sludge villain had Kacchan.
