🚨SELF HARM🚨

Monday came much faster than I expected. School was the same old super fun school, apart from when it wasn't a hero based subject. Surprisingly, being a second year didn't mean much, apart from harder work. The U.A. Sports Festival starts in August. June was average, but when July started, I fell back into old habits. It was the fourth of July, my mothers birthday. It reminded me of all the birthdays I spent with her, that I would never experience again. I locked myself in my room for the day. I stared at my sharpener. I wanted to. I knew I shouldn't, but I did it anyway. I unscrewed the screw on the blade. I picked up the blade and dragged it along my wrist.

It was Friday. I was a bit concerned as to why Izuku wasn't in class. I decided to ask Bakugo why.
"Hey." I said to him during lunch.
"Hey." He replied.
"Where's Izuku?" I asked.
"It's his mom's birthday." He replied.
"Oh, did he go to see her?" I asked.
"No, Ururaka, she died." He said.
I felt horrible.
"I am so sorry." I said.
"It's fine." He said.
"Isn't it Izuku's birthday on the fifteenth?" I asked.
"Yeah." He replied.
"In that case, I will plan the best party ever, to raise his spirits." I smiled.
"Good idea." He nodded, walking away.
This party was bound to make Izuku feel better.

That night, I slept next to Kacchan.
"What are you doing wearing a jacket?" He laughed.
"It's spring." I replied.
That wasn't the real reason, and he knew it too.
"Barely." He said. "How was today?"
"Fine." I replied bluntly.
"Deku, roll up your sleeves." He said.
"No, I'm comfortable." I panicked.
"Don't make me force you to." He said.
"No." I answered.
He pushed me against the bed and rolled up my sleeves. Me saw the fresh cuts, running between and over my old scars.
"Deku..." He whispered.
He started crying, then hugged me.
"Deku, don't do this. Why aren't I good enough." He sobbed. "I love you."
"I love you too Kacchan." I said.
"I want to spend my future with you." He said.
"I'm not going anywhere." I replied.
"Deku, these are scars, they are never going away." He said.
"They are a reminder of what I have survived." I replied.
He squeezed me harder.
"She wouldn't want this." He whispered.
"Kacchan, it hurts. Every time I think about her, it hurts." I said.
"I know." He said, running his fingers through my hair.
"She was the best mom." I sobbed. "She loved me, and she was always by my side."
"Deku, I am no replacement, but please, if you need a reason to live, let me be it." He cried.
"Kacchan, you are the only reason I haven't joined my mother." I whispered.
I woke up the next morning. I was in Kacchan's arms. I looked up at him. He was still asleep. He was so beautiful. I didn't deserve someone as perfect as him. I kissed him lightly on the neck. His eyelids fluttered.
"Hey." I whispered.
"Hey." He smiled. "How did I get so lucky?"
He buried his face in my hair.
"I was thinking the same thing." I smiled.
Eventually both of us fell asleep again. I ended up having a dream. Kacchan and I were headed to Tokyo. We got off the train, and made our way to a doctors office.
"Hey, we would like to see Doctor Shime." Kacchan said to the lady at the front desk.
"Do you have an appointment?" She asked.
"Yes." He replied.
I woke up. Doctor Shime? I know it was just a dream, but I pulled out my phone and opened Google.
