Although I savoured every second I had spent at U.A., I couldn't wait for the year to be over. Me and Kacchan would move to Tokyo and sign with Japans best hero agency, which we both got offers for, and we would buy an apartment together. We would get married and have children, then grandchildren. I just couldn't wait any longer.
It was March now, and the leaves fell in heaps. They crunched under my foot as I walked from the dorms to U.A. The crunch of leaves was one of my favourite sounds. I had come so far. I had come so far from a quirkless boy, falling victim to a controlling bully and his friends. I was no longer just a little kid. I wasn't a helpless boy. But those days still haunted me. Kacchan's words still echoed in my head. I always think, maybe I should give in. Maybe I should give him what he always wanted. He had changed now, but maybe this was him just trying to get in my head and mess me up. I started crying. I stopped walking and just stood there sobbing. I heard the crunch of foot steps on leaves running towards me.
"Deku, are you OK?" A voice said behind me.
It was Kacchan. I turned and punched him in the stomach.
"You selfish prick!" I shouted, kneeing him right on the nose as he bent over in pain from the blow to the stomach.
He looked up. His nose was bleeding.
"What are y-" I interrupted him by kicking him in the knee.
He fell down and I sat on top of him as he lay, facing towards the sky.
"All those years you liked me, but you were a coward and tormented me intead." I landed a punch on his fave with each word I said.
He grabbed my face and kissed me. We both started crying.
"I'm sorry." I sobbed.
"No, I am sorry for what I did to you. This needed to happen." He cried.
We lay there crying for a long while. We both decided to skip class thay day, and go on a movie date. It was fun, and I really needed it. I needed this day to happen. I needed to vent.
When we arrived back at the dorms, everyone was wondering where we were the day.
"We needed a break." Kacchan had said.
I was so greatful for him. His birthday would be coming up in a little over one month. I wondered what to get him. I had a few ideas. Kacchan would be eighteen, so I had to do something big, it was important. But I had no money.
"Hey." Kacchan looked at me with a concerned look.
We were both sitting on my bed.
"Look, don't worry about a big fancy present for my birthday,  all I want is you." He smiled.
"How did you know that I..." I said, confused.
"I didn't." He said with a wider smile.
I went bright red. I love Kacchan. If I ever lost him, I don't know what I would do.
"I love you." I said.
"Love you too." He said. "Again, I'm sorry. I wish I could take it all back."
"It's in the past." I smiled.
"Then what was today?" He laughed.
"Some times we have to vent." I shrugged.
"Well, I'm glad I got the chance to be your punchimg bag." He laughed.
"Didit hurt?" I asked.
"Deku, I got a blood nose, what do you think?" He laughed.
"Sorry." I smiled
