Chapter 51

~Midoriya

I walked outside. I punched the air infrnt of me with an open hand, using 20%. At least twenty houses blew over.
"Come out Kacchan!" I shouted.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw a figure coming at me. Kacchan was trying a sneak attack. I dodged and quickly flicked my finger in his direction. He went flying back, but landed on his feet.
"I don't want to hurt you." He said.
"Me neither." I nodded.
He charged at me. I dodged and flipped him on his back. He used his explosion quirk to propel himself to his feet. This time I ran at him. He started running back at him. He went to unch me, but I was faster. I hit him with 5%.
"IZUKU MIDORIYA JUST WON THE ALL FOR ONE BATTLE WITH FIVE POINTS!" Present Mic screamed.
I ran over to Kacchan.
"Are you OK? " I asked.
"Don't say it like I'm dying." He laughed.
Kacchan reovered in time for the next round, as did all of the other qualifiers. We were all gien time to recover with a three hour break. I didn't focus on anyone elses fights. There were fourteen contestants. I versed Tokoyami first. If I bet him, I would verse who ever one out of Kaminari and Tsu. If I won that, I would be versing wheber won the ther two rounds. I was hoping it would be Kacchan. One final show down. I won against Tokoyami, byt it was difficult. I won against Kaminari easily by ficking my finger and blowing him off the court. In the other rounds, Todoroki and Kacchan ended up versing. Kacchan won, so that means now he verses me for first place. Either way, I would definitely get scouted, but winning this would be the cherry on top. The round started. Kacchan charged at me. He greated a huge explosion that I narrowly missed. I sgomoed mh foot down at 1%. Causing Kacchan to fall. I took my chance, but he used his explosions to fly backwards, he landed on the other side of the fighting area. We charged each other. He punched me with a left hook. I ounched with a right hook at 20%. Our firsts met as he made an explosion. There was a huge shock wave, causing the referee to go flying off the feild. Both me and Kacchan flew backwards, but I regained footing just half a metre from the boundary, I had a minor burn on my arm, and I felt a bit numb, but apart from that I was fine. As the smoke cleared, I saw Kacchan, his arm badly broken, laying out of bounds. The crwd roared and applauded. I pulled the finger at them. How could they applaud two seventeen year olds almost killing each other. I ran over tk Kacchan. The mediks came with a stretcher and carried him off to the healing girls office. I followed them. About an hiur later, Kacchan came out with a sling.

"She couldn't fully heal it, otherwise I would fall asleep at the podium ceremony." He said.
"I am so sorry." I relied.
"You are very strong Izuku, I knew what I was signing up for." He nodded.
"Quick, the podium ceremony starts in five minutes." I said.
All Might presented the medals.Todoroki was in third, Kacchan in second, and I was first.
"We noticed you pulled the finger at the crowd, what was that about?" All Might said, holding a microphone to my face.
"Didn't you guys see how messed up Bakugo was?" I looked up at the crowd. "He could have been dead, and all you did was applaud."
"Fair point." All Might nodded.
"Anything to say, Todoroki?" All Might said, taking the microphone to him.
"Nothing." Todoroki replied.
"How about you, Bakugo. After all there was a magazine arical released early this year about you being gay, then here, today, you kiss Midoriya. Does this mean yu two are dating?" All Might asked.
"Yes." Kacchan replied.
I laughed to myself about the thought of All Might being a media reporter.
