Trigger Warning:
Self Harm

~Midoriya

I didn't know what to do. I just cried on Kacchan's shoulder. The ambulance finally arrived. They tried.
"Time of death, 4:42 pm." A medic said, checking his watch.
They started to carry her away. I cried. I just couldn't take it. My life has changed forever. It'll never be the same. And I would have just been a burden to her anyway. Bakugo hugged me.
"My mom gets home from work soon." He said.
We stood there hugging until we saw someone in the doorway. Kacchan's mom.
"I saw all the ambulances outside, what's going on?" She said. She looked at the large pool of blood on the floor behind us. "Where's Inko?" She asked.
Me and Bakugo didn't say anything. After a few seconds of trying to hold it back, I started sobbing again.
"Oh honey," She said, running over to me and hugging me, "No, no, no, it will be fine."
"B-but she's d-dead." I sobbed.
I was interviewed by police the next day. Kacchan was interviewed with me.
"It was my fault, it was the villains way of getting revenge on me for escaping, and for me capturing his friends." Kacchan said.
"No Kacchan," I said, "No!"
I started crying again. Would it always be like this. Would I never be able to hold a sentence without crying.
The police also noted that I didn't have a guardian. They also said that I didn't have many family members close by, which was true.
"But... There is a family that would like to adopt you." The police officer said, "Would you like to meet them?"
"I don't think I'm ready for that yet." I sobbed.
That's when the police officer opened the door to reveal Mrs. and Mr. Bakugo.
"Hey honey." Mitsuki said, running over to me and giving me a hug.
"Hey bud." Masaru said.
"Wait you guys are adopting me?" I said, crying.
"If you want." Mitsuki said
"But you don't have to call us Mom or Dad." Masaru said.
It was a big change, but I would grow into it eventually. I still had severe depression, but this was the light at the end of the tunnel. Although it seems small at the moment, one day it will get bigger, until I'm in the light again.
We had already cleaned out the house, I was just packing up my room. As I packed up the desk, I saw my razor. It was my fault my mom was gone. It was my fault that this was my life now. Thinking about cutting filled my mind with toxic thoughts, and I just couldn't get rid of them. So I cut. I pushed the blade into my arm this time, with force. It made a deep cut. I kept doing it, until I stopped. I remembered the light at the end of the tunnel. I couldn't be doing this. I bandaged my arm and threw the razor in the garbage.
The blood was already staining through the bandage. I sighed, walking of to my room to go put my jacket back on. As I did so, I heard someone down stairs.
"Deku, I came to help you!" Kacchan shouted from down stairs. Crap. Where was my jacket. I couldn't find my jacket. I had it on a minute ago, where was it. Kacchan entered the room. It was to late.

~Bakugo

I entered Deku's room. The first thing I saw was him, looking distressed. Then I noticed the blood stained bandage in his wrist. The blood crept out from his bandage and run down his hand. Only a little bit of blood, only enough to form a drop on the floor.
