Our Little Secret

Chapter 44

~Midoriya

A week had passed. There was only three days left of camp. Everyone was gradually packing there stuff. We had the last three days of camp off to do whatever, but there were some voluntary activities running, like hikes, and star gazing. I signed our cabin up for a hike on Thursday.
"Hey guys." I said as I entered the cabin. "I signed us up for a hike tomorrow, around the lake."
"Izuku!" Both girls yelled.
"That lake is HUGE!" Momo said.
"It isn't even a lake." Jiro complained. "It's and inland ocean!"
"You guys are exaggerating." Kacchan sad calmly. "Just put up with it, it will be fun."
"But I won't be able to move for a week after." Momo complained.
"It's a memory." Kacchan said.
"I guess." She sighed.
"OK, we'll come." Jiro said.
"And I convinced Ururaka's cabin to come." I said.
"Who's in her cabin, again?" Momo said.
"Hagakure, Todoroki and Iida." I said.
"Oh, that'll be fun!" Jiro smiled.
We all jumped at the knock on the door. I opened the door. Iida, Ururaka and the bunch if floating clothes, that I assumed to be Hagakure.
"Hey." Ururaka said. "We have an idea."
I let them in.
"They agreed to come." I said.
Ururaka nodded.
"Where's Todoroki?" Jiro asked.
"That's why we're here." Hagakure said.
"We are going to attempt to make Todoroki laugh on our hike." Iida said.
"How?" Kacchan sat up, suddenly interested.
"To start off with, just memes and jokes." Ururaka said. "But as a last resort we will attack tickle him as a group."
Kacchan grinned.
The next day we all met at the shore of the lake. Mr. Aizawa was waiting for us.
"Are you leading us?" I asked.
"No." He said. "I am here to tell you to stick to the trail and follow the red flags."
"Oh." I said.
"Please inform your fellow hikers when they arrive." He said, leaving.
I told the others what Mr. Aizawa told me when they arrived, before setting off.
"Hey, Todoroki." I said, showing him a meme about All Might that I found really funny.
"Oh." He said.
Me, Kacchan, Ururaka and Iida looked at each other. A few minutes later, Ururaka did the same, then Iida, then Kacchan, then Hagakure. We looked at each other and nodded.
"NOW!" Ururaka shouted.
We all ran at Todoroki and started tickling him.
"What is this!?" He said, not flinching.
"We are trying to make you laugh!" Hagakure said.
I tickled behind his knee and he jumped up.
"I found his sweet spot, hold him down!" I shouted.
Ururaka and Hagakure held his legs, and Iida and Kacchan held back his arms. I tickled the crook behind his knee. He flinched and squirmed, until he let out a laugh. It was such a beautiful laugh. Everyone stood there in shock.
"Shoto, your laugh is so beautiful." Ururaka said.
"You should laugh more often." I agreed in shock.
Todoroki blushed, and continued walking as we let him go.
"So this was your plan?" Todoroki said.
We all nodded.
"Let's keep going." He said.
We hiked all the way around the lake, and arrives back at sunset, just in time for dinner. We all promised to keep Todoroki's laugh a secret. That night I, again, fell asleep in the arms of Kacchan. That night I had a dream. I was ten years in the future. Kacchan and I were married, and so was Jiro and Momo. We were all pro heroes. We were all world wide celebrities. Everyone of us had made it into the top one hundred heroes. Even though it was just a dream, I decided to view it as a goal.
