- hey guys!! so so so sorry about not posting so much lately, i've been busy trying to keep up with school bUT I JUST WENT OK BREAK AND FINISHED MY FINALS SO I HAVE A WHOLE TWO WEEKS TO WRITE AND POST !! anyways, so yeah; enjoy the chapter !!

this morning grayson and i packed up what we deemed important and personal and started filling up our private jet. we had our driver take the luggage there and while he's doing that i'm making sure the kids get ready and that the house is clean before we leave.

violet's fever went down this morning so she's in perfectly good health.

this morning, when gray and i announced to the kids that we were moving they were confused but excited nonetheless because we're moving across the country and they get to see their aunts and uncle ethan and uncle josh and their grandparents.

i finished making breakfast and grayson is making calls and letting everyone know that in a few hours we'll be in los angeles. it's still 10, here in new york, and our flight is about six hours and we're gonna fly out at noon, so we should make it to la at around 6 pm new york time, which is 3 pm la time. great.

i'm sitting down and chowing down on my breakfast, when grayson finally sits down and joins us at the table. "are you sure this is what you wanted, babe?" he says and looks to me. i nod.

"absolutely. i just want to be where my family is. i want to see my parents and natti and your siblings and parents. besides, the kids are excited." i deeply exhale. "i just want what's best for them and i feel like i'm making a good decision." he nods and kisses my forehead.

"all i want is to make you happy and keep you safe along with our children." he grabs my hand across the table and kisses the back of it. "i love you."

"i love you more." i reply and he shakes his head.

"not possible."

"are you challenging me, mr. dolan?" i raises an eyebrow and he smirks.

"well when you put it like that." i just chuckle and he kisses the back of my hand again. "you're literally the most adorable wife ever." he gushes and i blush.

"mommy and daddy are so weird." i hear ash mutter under his breath and i look over to see cate and violet nodding. gray and i share a glance and burst out laughing.

my family is my everything. i would do anything for them.

we made it to los angeles not long ago and are now settling in. the kids are walking around the house and exploring. natti, josh, annie, and ethan are over and helping us and i couldn't be more grateful. i can't help but notice that natti and josh are a bit touchy. i wonder what's going on between them.

when we arrived, grayson and i decided to explain everything to everyone and i felt such a weight lifted off my shoulders when we did. i feel safer now that i did because now everyone is concerned and aware. i happy to be so relieved and to know that my friends and family have my back.

i'm in the kitchen with annie and natti helping them prepare dinner currently, when i decide to ask what's going on between natti and josh. "so natti, what's going on with you and josh? you two seem pretty cozy together, don't ya think?" she instantly blushes.

she sighs before answering. "well, since you confessed today about what's going on with shawn, i guess i may as well come clean." she pauses. "josh and i have been together for quite some time." she plays with her fingers while looking down.

my eyes light up. "natti, why haven't you told us?" i feel a little hurt that she didn't tell us, but... i am one to y'all.

"i don't know, kind of the same reason why you didn't tell us about shawn." i sink down in my seat. "it's just, i was 18 and—"

"you've been together for five years?" annie interjects. natti bites her lip and her eyes wander.

"yeah..." she trails off. "jane, remember when you and grayson decided to finally act like a real couple?" i nod. "and remember how we all went to dinner?" i nod again. "well, that night, i was trying to get close to josh but he blew me off, because two years before that, we got together and i was pregnant."

"but what about—" she cuts off annie and i.

"he made me have an abortion because he would've gone to jail and he would've had to break up with his girlfriend, which he ended up doing anyway." she runs her hands through her hair and tears up a bit.

"natti..." i trail off. "how did you go through that by yourself? you know i would've helped you." i place my hand on top of hers.

"i know, i know," she sniffles. "but you were having a rough time with grayson, and i didn't want to make it harder on you, and i didn't know what josh would do and i—that's not the point anymore. josh and i are happy together. that's all that matters." she wipes her tears away and gives a strained smile.

"what i still don't know, is how you two got together." annie states.

"when jane had violet-grace, and i ran out of the room and josh followed me out, i had a meltdown. i was wondering what it would've been like if i had carried our baby to term and delivered it, and what it would've been like to have a family together. he felt bad and said he would make it up to me and would win me over again. so... after six months trying to win me over, we got together and decided to be lowkey about it. no one suspected a thing and i actually liked it. i mean, yeah, it was hard whenever we would be invited to the same parties and we couldn't be open about it, but i liked how it was only us. it felt amazing and made me love him more." she smiles shyly.

"well," i speak up. "i'm happy for you two." i smile.

"yeah, and thanks for sharing this with us." annie puts her arm around her.

"thanks, girls, that really means a lot to me." natalia smiles. after a while, she looks to annie accusingly. "so, annie, do you have anything to confess?" we all giggle.

"no, i think i'm good. still single and happy." she jokes.

for what it's worth, i'm glad i moved back to cali. i missed my family. and now no one is going to come between us, not even shawn.

ahhh!!! i'm sooo sorry i haven't posted in a WHILE but hopefully i'm back for a bit. just as a heads up, school starts up again THIS tuesday so i'm sorry if updates are gonna be slow again. i'm still working on an updating schedule. i'm thinking maybe every other friday or saturday. what do you guys think?
