Jughead P.O.V
I was in Pops massaging my head while waiting for everyone to show up.
"Anything I can get for you Jughead?" Pop asked I smiled
"Just coffee Pop"
"Nothing to eat?"
"Not hungry"
"Something on your mind?" I chuckled
"Yeah you could say that"
"I'm all ears if you need it" Pop said
"Thanks Pop"
"Anytime" he responded before walking away, returning with a cup of black coffee. The minute it touched my lips (Y/N) and Betty walked in. (Y/N) sat down next to me while Betty slid across in the opposite both. At the sight of us Pops cane around with two more cups

"Coffee anyone?"
"I'll take one, Pops your a life saver" (Y/N) said taking her cup and bring it up to her lips
"Late night?" Pops asked she nodded Pops left us alone walking back to the counter.
"Ok so I stayed up half the night on this map" (Y/N) said digging it out of her bag
"Shouldn't we wait for Archie and Veronica?" Betty asked (Y/N) shook her head
"You snooze you loose" at that moment both Archie and Veronica walked in
"Hey guys did we miss anything?" Archie asked
"No not yet" I responded then looked back at (Y/N)
"So?" (Y/N) spread out her map
"I pinpointed every location where one of us got a call from Mr Lollipop"
"And?" Veronica asked
"Nothing, there was no pattern" she grabbed her cup

"All that hard work for nothing"
"This isn't for nothing (Y/N/N), this is really good" Betty said I smiled
"Thanks B at least something came out of it." I bit my lip
"Maybe the pattern isn't done" everyone looked at me
"Maybe he's not done his games. Look there has to be a reason why certain people are being targeted at certain times I mean Veronica and Archie haven't gotten a call yet and there must be a reason."
"So why just play along?" Veronica asked
"Yeah well that's what me and (Y/N) have been saying, we learn what game he's playing and we beat him at it."
"Jug- Archie started
"Do you have a better idea? Need I remind you the last time the police were involved in something. Oh that's right my dad ended up being wrongly arrested."

"Speaking of your dad" Veronica said then looked at Betty
"Did you two learn anything interesting about your parents"
"Yes" Betty said
"Too much" I said at the same time taking another sip then I set my cup down looking at my friends who were waiting for me to speak.
"My dad gave his side: long story short is that they dated then Alice Cooper a South Side Serpent at the time broke his heart-
"Excuse me but your dad broke my moms heart after he left her to go be with some cheerleader while she was pregnant"

"What!" Everyone shouted
"Your dad didn't tell you that?" Betty asked I just shook his head
"Wait a minute" (Y/N) said all eyes were on her
"Betty remember when we listened to your parents when they put Polly in Sisters Of Quiet Mercy"
"Yeah" Betty said
"When your mom didn't want to put the baby up for adoption remember what your dad said?"
"That she's making this more personal then it needs to be." Everyone was silent

"Could the kid be?" Archie asked
"Definitely a possibility" (Y/N) said
"Why didn't my dad tell me?" I asked (Y/N) bit her lip and put her hand over mine
"Maybe he didn't know" she looked at Betty
"Continue" Betty nodded
"So anyway they broke up and went their separate ways and then my parents got together and that's when my mom changed. She switched her Serpent jacket our for a cardigan and started dating my dad. She put the baby up for adoption and never spoke about it again."

"Definitely a motive, kid gets put up for adoption years later kids wondering why me? Wants to see their birth family and ask them all these questions." (Y/N) said
"Apparently it was a closed adoption" Betty said
"Even better! Unknown Jones-Copper Kid just became our prime suspect." (Y/N) said " we need to find as much information about this kid as we can"
"Leave that to me, I can get the files" Veronica said
"Not alone" (Y/N) said
"A V and (Y/F/I) team up?" She smiled
"You know it"
"Archie" I said he looked at me
"See if your dad knows anything about this, he might say something both of our parents have left out. Every bit helps" Archie nodded

"What about you and Betty"
"For now we wait, seeing as us and (Y/N) are the only ones getting calls so far someone is bound to get a call at some point." As if it was planned (Y/N)'s phone started to ring she gasped then with shaking hands picked up the phone and accepted the call

(Y/N)'s P.O.V
"Hello?" I asked nervously
"Aren't you clever? You think you can play along but your still seating the board, barely scratching the surface." I gripped my phone
"So your saying I'm on to something?" I asked the voice laughed
"Aren't you a cocky little one, barely but yes. I'm gonna have to step up the game." All I herd was a dial tone
"Damn it" I said hanging up
"What happened?" Archie asked
"Usual, although the voice did admit we are one to something"

"That's great!" Jughead said
"Yeah but still so many unanswered questions" I said with a groan then took a sip of my coffee while Jughead rubbed my arm.
"We will get through this together" I smiled at his kind words
"Yeah I mean we helped solve a murder how worse can it get?" Archie asked
