My brain is a little fuzzy on the cannon side of F.Ps and Alices relationship and the kid but this is fanfiction cannon doesn't apply here.
Archie's P.O.V
I took a deep breath and walked into the living room where Dad was siting down watching T.V.
"Hey dad" he turned towards me
"Hey Arch what's up?"
"You knew Betty's mom in high school right?" Surprised he responded
"Well yeah we all did me, FP, Alice Hermonie."
"Do you know about the baby" Dad looked at me in a utter state of confusion.

"Archie what are you talking about?"
"(Y/N) overheard a conversation while she was at Betty's between her parents. Turns out her mom had a baby when she was in high school and the father is-
Dads sigh cut me off "you don't need to tell me I can guess who the father is but why would you tell me this and how did you even find out?" I shrugged
"You know (Y/N) once she starts investigating she can't stop, and Jughead and Betty we're curious when they found out, they wanted to know about their brother or sister." I sat down
"What were they like in high school?" Dad chuckled

"Alice was- well let's say she was almost a different person in high school. She lived in the SouthSide with her parents, was a Serpent while F.P he only had his dad. His dad wasn't let's say the best father in town. But he did his best, part of the football team, he had all the girls looking as we walked down the hallway." Dad shook his head.
"Honestly they were never that close, not for a long time but things slowly changed I saw them together more for a while anyway. He walked her to class, had his arm around her, they seemed happy. Then one day it went back to normal.

Every time I would bring it up to either of them they would just shrug it off. Eventually F.P changed his football jacket for a Serpents one and Alice hung hers up and moved to the Northside and stopped talking to each other altogether. It's crazy to believe that they're parents of a kid out there."
"What was Alice like when she was pregnant?" Dad shrugged

"She wasn't in school, she was gone for a few months. Rumours went around some saying she was pregnant some even went so far as to say she was in juvie. When she came back she changed to the Alice we know today."
"Do you think F.P knows?" Dad was silent
"If he does he didn't tell me, and it wasn't when they were kids"  I nodded
"Thanks Dad" I turned to walk away
"Archie" I turned around
"Be careful, I don't know what you got yourself into but be careful." I nodded
"We will dad"

I walked back upstairs and dialled Jugheads number it rang a couple times before Jughead picked it up
"Hello?"
"Hey Jug It's me"
"Did you talk to your dad?"
"Yeah I did"
"And?"
"He doesn't know a whole lot" Jughead sighed
"He didn't know about the baby, sorry I don't think my dad is the best person to go to." Jughead was silent
"Jug?"
"Where talking to the wrong person"
"What?"
"You shouldn't have talked to your dad, Betty should have talked to hers." My eyes widened I could practically see Jughead walking around in his room
"Think about it, he was with her when Alice was pregnant and he made her give up the baby."
"I'm calling Betty now"

"One other thing, I just spoke to (Y/N) her and Veronica are in a tough spot, the alarm at the hospital got set off and they are taking shelter at Cheryl's for the night."
"Cheryl's? Are they going to tell her-
"Yeah, we need help Archie even if it is Cheryl" I nodded
"Are they alright?"
"Yeah their fine" I took a deep breath in relief
"Ok I'll call Betty and talk to her, call me if anything changes"
"I will"
"And Jug, get some sleep" he chuckled
"I'll try" he hung up
I sighed and dialled Betty's number she answered at the first ring
"Hello?"
"Hey Betty, I talked to my dad he doesn't know much"

"Oh" Betty said disappointed
"But I think there's someone who might know: your dad"
"My dad?"
"Yeah he was with your mom through the pregnancy right? Not to mention he wanted to give the baby up for adoption"
"I'll talk to him, see what he knows, also have you talked to Veronica or (Y/N)?"
"No but Jughead filled me in, they are at Cheryl's for the night. Apparently (Y/N) is going to tell Cheryl"
"We can trust her Archie"
"I hope so, even though her dad tried to kill us all a few months ago."
"Cheryl is not her father"
"Trust me I know" I sighed "how did we get so wrapped into this mess? First the murder, then the calls, now we have to solve the mystery of a baby who might be behind the calls?"

"It's Riverdale" I chuckled
"Yeah the town with pep, I think that's the last thing we have" Betty giggled "talk to you tomorrow Archie"
"I'll call you if anything changes"
"Thanks" she hung up and I laid back on my bed closing my eyes. Then I herd my phone ring, my mind went to the worst place. What if it was about Veronica? Or (Y/N)? Without checking the caller I.D I answered

"Jug?"
"Guess again"
"Damn it" he chuckled
"Trying to play detective now? You and your group of friends think your so clever. You think your getting close but I'm here to tell you your nowhere close. This story has a sequel maybe even a trilogy."
"What do you want from us? What game are you playing?"
"What I want is a secret you'll have to find out, the game however well let's just say your little friends are in the middle of it right now."
"If you hurt them-

"You'll what? Chase me down? Punch me with those fists of yours? Please your just kids running around in a circle while I sit and watch from afair.(Y/N) thinks she will figure out the rules but jokes on her, when you make the game the rules can change, and mine are forever changing. Goodnight Archie"

I herd the dial tone and my phone fell from my grip and onto my lap. I sat there for a minute, my heart pounding my breathing heavy not knowing what to do. Should I go after them? Should I call Jughead? Or the police? Damn it he's right we're just kids running around in circles. That's exactly what Veronica and (Y/N) are doing right now, running. I looked out the window hopping they would make it to Cheryl's safety and even then after what Cheryl did to Jughead are they even safe there?
