Jugheads P.O.V
The days went by pretty normal, or as normal they could get. The jacket the serpents gave me hung in the living room by the front door. I sighed no one is going to like this but it had to be done, I texted everyone the same thing can you come over? I need to tell you something, they all responded sure and a half hour later all 4 of my friends showed up at my doorstep.
"Hey guys" I said when I answered the door
"Jughead what's going on?" Archie asked (Y/N) already knew but I had yet to tell Archie Betty and Veronica mainly.
"Just come in I need to talk to you about something" they nodded and walked inside. Everyone sat down on the couch and I sighed
"So the night that my dad was arrested something... happened"
"What happened?" Betty asked
"The Southside Serpents showed up at my doorstep"
"WHAT?" All three shouted
"They offered me a spot"
"Ok hold up" Veronica said then stood up
"Your telling us that your a member of the Southside Serpents now? No unacceptable right (Y/N)?" (Y/N) bit her lip
"I may have already agreed"
"What!" Veronica shouted
"Jug you can't be serious" Archie said
"Jughead this is dangerous these guys are criminals and thugs" Betty said I chucked
"You guys are forgetting that my dad is a Serpent hell hes the leader so I would choose the words you use to describe them a little more carefully"
"But look where your dad is Jughead, what good has being in the Serpents got him?" Veronica argued
"I agree they aren't the best group of people but face the facts guys: Jason is dead, anyone of us could be next and I don't know about you guys but I want to be ready for that, I don't want to loose any of you so if being in a gang means that my friends are safe then fine" everyone was quite not liking the fact that I was right
"Just be safe" (Y/N) speaking up for the first time I nodded
"I will" then I sat down
"Look I'm not saying you guys have to like the idea, or even understand it but I want your support, if the town goes up in flames I don't want to be standing in the flames" everyone nodded
"So what does this mean?" Betty asked
"Nothing really, I already live on the Southside they just want me to stop by every once in a while and no I won't be doing any kind of drug deals"
"What about your mom?" (Y/N) asked
"Yeah your mom isn't going to like this" Archie added
"I know" I said looking out the window
"I'll work it out don't worry, just don't be shocked if I turn up one day wearing a Serpent jacket"
"Do you have it?" (Y/N) asked I nodded stood up and walked towards the front door and grabbed it. (Y/N) stood up and walked towards me
"Well put it on" I shrugged it on
"Not bad, fits you like a glove, weather that's good or bad is our own opinion" I nodded and smiled
"Thanks guys for handling this so well"
"Your our friend Jughead and while we may not agree with your decision if you think it's right then that's all that matters" Betty said and there was a knock on the door. I instantly dropped the jacket and hid it behind the door and opened it, as I thought it was my mom and Jellybean at the door.
"Hi mom"
