DIANNE'S POV ~ October 11
I CANT BELIEVE IM DUE NEXT WEEK. I don't feel ready at all. We don't have a name, we don't have a plan, we barely have anything ready. Joe looks at me as I let a tear roll down my face. He came and sat on the bed with me and wiped my tears away. We snuggled down underneath the blankets. " I love you Joe ." I said.
He hugged me tight and said " I love you too Dianne, and soon we'll have another little princess to love just the same."
JOE'S POV ~
Dianne drifted off to sleep on my chest, she has barely slept these past couple of weeks, she must be exhausted bless her.
I know Dianne really wants another girl in the delivery room with her. She obviously would love her mum there but she's in Australia. I took the opportunity and phoned up Zoë.
Z: Hey Joe, how's Dianne?
J; she's ok really, a few pains, that's all.
Z: I bet she's exhausted.
J: she really is, listen I have a really big favour to ask.
Z: Anything Joseph.
J: Are you free for the next week or so?
Z: umm yeah I think so, why?
I explained to her the plan and she agreed happily
DIANNE'S POV ~
"OWWW !" I screamed as I woke up
"Di, you ok ?" Joe panicked
"Yeah, just a pain in my stomach."
Joe helped me get up and go to the toilet before waiting outside.
I pulled down my trousers and felt a gush.
"JOE! I screamed in panic"
Joe came rushing in and cuddled me to calm me down. I don't know how he does that.
"ZOË," I heard joe shout. "HELP ME, IT'S DIANNE!"
Joe must've called her at some point, he knows I wanted somebody else in the room with me.
He and Zoë helped me outside
"OWWW!"
"keep breathing Di you're doing amazing" he exclaimed as he helped me into the car
"AGHHHHH FUCK!" "
"Dianne, we're going to have a family together, all of the pain is worth it, trust me." Joe says.
I don't know how Joe's staying so calm, that's why I love him.
"OWWWWWWWWW JOE!" I shouted, clutching onto his arm.
Joe looked at Zoë for some help.
"at the end of this, your going to have a little girl. Focus on that. Focus on your little girl Dianne." Zoë said in response.
JOE'S POV ~
Poor Dianne. I just wish there was some way to take all this pain away. She's screaming and swearing left right and centre I hate seeing her this distressed, it really is my idea of torture.
