JOE'S POV ~
I took hold of James' hand while Dianne held Olivia in her arms and Tegan followed behind us. I can't wait to get off this plane and see Di's family again. We haven't seen them properly in over a year.
We made our way across the airport to where they stood. Dianne instantly ran up to them and wrapped her arms around everyone; her mum and dad and two brothers. It was lovely finally seeing her at her happiest again after so long.
"Hi Joe!" Rina squealed as she engulfed me in her embrace before bending down to give Tegan and James cuddles. "Gosh, they've grown so big Dot" She says as she looks down in pride at her grandchildren.
"They have, they have." Dianne replied doing the same.
"This one started walking and hasn't stopped since." I gesture to James. We talked for a few minutes longer before packing our stuff up in mark's car and venturing our way to Dianne's childhood home.
"Auntie Dot!" We hear as we pull up. Brendan's kids; Billy and Mia run out to where we were standing. "Uncle Joe!" They gasped as though they didn't expect to see me here. Andrew must not have told them. They ran up to us and hug us both. "Aw I've missed you guys." Di said as we let go.
