DIANNE'S POV ~
It's so nice finally being back in Australia after so long. I've missed it here. I woke up and checked my phone. 10:37 crap, jet lags's really got it in for me. I turned to my right to discover that Joe wasn't by my side. I looked over to the door and neither were the kids. I rolled out of bed and downstairs to where my family were talking. "Morning Dot." Said my dad as he came and hugged me. Being in his arms again reminded me of how much I miss it here. "Morning dad." I replied before going round the rest of my family and hugging them.

It had just turned half eleven when I talked to Joe. "What are we going to do today?" I asked.
"I don't know Di. You're the one who lived round here for 27 years. I don't know what there is to do." was the response I got.
"Tell you what Dianne, why don't you take Joe around the area today? let your dad and I take the kids for a few hours and you can take him to the coffee shop you love down the road." My mum interrupted.
"Sounds like a plan. Come on Joseph!" I said excitedly, pulling him up from the chair, running to finish getting ready like a child.

We left at 1 and the first place I dragged him to was the sandwich shop that I love. We grabbed something to eat and made our way to the beach. "You know Di, it's nice to see you with your family again. I can tell you feel so empty without them and being here just makes you a completely different person. You just seem so much happier." He said while we were sat down on the sand eating ice cream, the waves crashing on the rocks beside us. "I guess I am. My family mean everything to me, especially now I've given up dancing to focus on the kids. I have missed it here a lot." I replied. We splashed about in the warm sea for an hour before drying off and me dragging him round the corner to the coffee shop my mum was on about. "God Di, what's for into you today? You are so spritely." Joe asked.
"I don't know. I guess I'm just excited to show you where I grew up." I said.
"It is beautiful here I have to admit." He smiled.
We sat and drank our coffees before Joe went to the toilet and I bumped into my friend who I hadn't seen in years.
"Oh my god Megan hi!" I exclaimed.
"Dot!" She squealed as she saw me.
We hugged and then she sat down. "What are you doing here?" She asked.
"I'm visiting my mum and dad." I chuckled at her excitement.
We spoke for a few minutes before she changed the topic.
"So Di, how are things on the boyfriend front? Found anyone yet?"
"Well actually," I begun, "I'm married now, and we have the three most incredible children." I said. You could physically see her brain explode.
"No way Dot! Get outta here." She gasped. I shook my head and giggled as I felt Joe come up beside me and snake his arms around my waist. "You must be Dianne's husband: that sounds so weird to say." Meg smiled as she greeted joe.
"Yeah, and the dad of her children." He replied, smiling broadly at me.
"Where are they?" She asked.
"They're at mum's." I told her, showing her picture of my babies.
"Gosh Di, they're beautiful!" She said.
"They are aren't they." I gushed.
We talked for a while longer before we decided to get back to the kids. We got in and spent the night watching a film with my family. This is the sort of stuff I've missed since moving to London.
