Who I'm Meant To Be

Hey girlie

Finally we're gonna have a lovely chapter from Athena!!! It's Been a while I know but I had to plan this out!

It's hard to remember all the names and things so I plan and sketch out scenarios

Athena's POV

"Ow!!" I squeal

I'm currently getting a dragon tattoo, of course it's silver lined

And it hurts a lot more then I thought it would!!!

A few hours ago I went to the hairdressers. I kept my hair it's usual above the hip length, side parted but I got my other side in 6 small braids

I'm preparing for war and I would rather look nice.

I'm at the only place in the 4 realms where I can't be prosecuted or found. It's called the cold zone.
It's where criminals of all kinds come to just hang out and live life. Of course the elders don't know about it so it's considered safe.

I'm starting to miss the forest, my morning duties, the fresh breeze, all of my old friends...gone

But it's what I trade for freedom and it's worth it.

"All done Athena" joe says getting up, I look down and admire it "it's beautiful! Your really talented girl" I say getting up and hugging her
"And your the nicest criminal iv ever met" she says with a wink, inside joke.
"So do you want me to start with the crescent paint?" She asks grabbing her brushes

"Yeah sure!" She starts painting tiny details on my face, it's supposed to be for good luck and it lasts a really long time

"So hows your Mum going?" Joe asks while changing angels with her brush "she's the same spiteful bitch she's always been" I say with a small laugh. "Give her a break, she didn't mean to kill Melody and you know that" joe replies

She's kinda like a best friend/parental guidance figure to me. Iv told her pretty much everything about me and she helps me threw the pain of it all.

"I know but that doesn't change the fact that she's the reason" I say looking down

"Hey don't move!" She playfully shouts with her graspy voice

"Sorry Joey" I say smiling "I told you not to call me joey kid!"

——20 minutes later——

I kiss joe goodbye on the cheek and walk out the door into the streets. I go over to Ronnell cafe and take a seat. "The usual Athena?" I nod and look down at the paper in front of me
'Top news: Alama has returned!' Ugh when will people realise who she is. A spiteful bitc- "hello" I look up from the paper to see a gorgeous boy standing in front of me "can I help you?" I say with a kind smile
"I was wondering if I could sit down?" He replies looking st the chair across from me
"Of course" I continue smilling and look back down to the paper

"Your Athena right?" Oh god no! Why! I look back up and do an awkward laugh avoiding eye contact "so I'll take that as a yes?" I look into his blue eyes and do a small nod.
"Your way to beautiful to be a criminal"

I would like to think this guy is just being nice but around here you can't be so sure.
"So how old are you?" I ask curiously leaning over the table "17" perfect if I wasn't about to start a war

"So what side you on?" He asks leaning into my face "legally both but if you've heard the stories I don't do legally" I say with a poker face.
We're both about 2-3cm apart waiting for one to back down.
"That's right! Your Alama and Mj's daughter right? That's gotta be tough" he says staring at my lips
"Why do you think I ended up here?" I say leaning in closer to nose touching level

"Because I good girlie got lost?" He says leaning in closer, if one of us shifted the slightest bit more our lips would meet.

I decide to lean in that little bit more and kiss him. He looks shocked first but relaxes into it. We've been doing lip to lip for about 40 seconds now until he licks my bottom lip.
Of course I ain't gonna open up! I'm the one playing puppeteer!
He reaches his hand across the table down to my bare back, I regret the choice of a cropped leather, zip up armoured shirt
I get distracted for a moment and he takes this chance to slip his tongue in. We're now practically making out over a table in a cafe.
He's just about to move in closer until I pull away "I knew you wanted to kiss me" I say with my proud smirk
"So what if I did?" He says smiling innocently
"What's your name?" I ask leaning back into my chair

"Alexander, Alexander Mallon"
