((In this Cinder is a government pet project since it's an AU. He's still an android but he's not made to kill. He also can't do magic like usual and he doesn't have his tendrils))
The morning had been uneventful. He'd woken up and gotten ready before heading out of his apartment. He didn't eat breakfast, not needing to. Cinder was a government pet project. They had made him to try and create artificial intelligence and, upon succeeding, they decided to send him off into the world.
Eventually though, the government had decided they shouldn't spend more time on CINDER.EXE and thus, they discontinued it. The government still had a few scientists working on the project but they didn't pay much attention to it. He was now working at a high school not too far from where he lived as the robotics teacher. Cinder was quiet as he headed into the garage of the building. He headed towards his sleek, navy blue sports car and opened it.
He stepped in and started the vehicle before driving out of the garage. A ten minute drive later and he'd arrived at the school. Woodcreek high. A high school filled with every kind of teenager on earth. Cinder sighed and parked his car. He stepped out and headed into the school, messenger bag at his side.
Despite being so early in the morning, kids were already huddling in the halls. The android didn't say anything to anyone as he headed to his class. He didn't have to check in, the school knowing of who he was and how he always showed up on time save for the few days his scientists would check in with him. He unlocked the door to his class and entered, flipping the lights on with a soft sigh. Cinder set his bag on his desk before moving to open the blinds and windows.
The class was much too hot. He had a cooling system implanted in him but it didn't help mask how hot the room was. A soft knock came to his door and he turned. A short, chubby teacher stood there. Dell Conagher. He couldn't help but smile warmly at the other.
The science teacher was the only teacher in the school that knew Cinder was an android. Granted, that knowledge came to Dell on accident. He'd walked in on Cinder repairing some wires in his arm. The android had no choice but to explain. "G'morning Cinder. I figured you were here today. How are you?"
The man walked over to his desk. "The same as usual my friend. Yourself? You seem a bit happier than usual. Not that that is a bad thing." Dell laughed and moved to take a seat across from Cinder's desk by sitting on a student desk.
