I'm back with another chapter hope yall enjoy . Sorry for the wait :(

Venessa's POV

On my way home I've encountered a great deal of pain and suffering, meaning that I sat in traffic for 20 minutes.

Finally getting out of the traffic, I turn into my street slowing down as I reach nearer to my house. But suddenly something catches my eye.

Is that what I think it is?

Shit... shit...shit

I start speeding up my car passing my house completely.

I thought dad paid these people off already. I pass the man hiding in the bush across the street with a camera in his hand staring at my main gate. I have a feeling he's not leaving anytime soon.

Ughhhh

Great now I have to go park far away and walk through the woods to get home.

Just peachy ain't it

Don't these people have lives to get to or something? Why must mines be tortured?

What I said about my dad's company being successful was a bit toned down, his and my uncle's business actually turned into a freaking empire making them one of the most highly respected CEOs in the country maybe even in the world who knows. They've achieved everything from their own hotels and buying and selling real estate to global stock trading. Even fashion magazines wanted to hire them. Not only that but profits came in quick making them richer by the minute.

But even though their identities were known to the world they swore to keep their children's one out of the spotlight hence the reason of my dad paying off reporters and paparazzi. But I guess some people didn't get the memo.

Staying in the shadows was something I could agree on, my family may be rich but I never took it as an opportunity to squander money unless very necessary.

Very very necessary.

Heck I still shop at Target and I don't mind at all, my cheap ass is fine without everything I own costing more than someone's college tuition.

Making sure my car doesn't look suspicious I park further up the street and walk towards where the trail where the woods began.

Walking through these woods just brought back memories especially ones reminding me of that one drawing. But like everyone says all good things must come to an end and I guess it did. With that in mind, I shake my head and continue walking to the back entrance.

I use my key to get in through the back door and made sure to lock it. I walk through the dining room taking a shortcut to the kitchen for a little snack before I change.

I see Mariella's hand waving at me. Vigorously I might add.

"Venessa you're finally home it's been lonely without you here, cmon sit sit, what's on the menu for today," she looks at me with excited eyes, Mariella has always loved cooking and she has such a cheerful mood you can't ever be mad at her. Plus she has the energy of a racehorse.

"Just the usual would be fine today."

"Alright, coming right up and hey little missy don't think that just because your gonna eat this means it counts as dinner okay? My masterpieces shall not be wasted." She said pointing her finger at me.
