This chapter is more of a prologue mixed with chapter 1 with that makes any sense :)

Michael Gordon Clifford was apart of the band 5 Seconds of Summer, he was the guitarist of it. He was such a sweet person he was a kitten who tried to be punk rock.
Soulmates were a thing for a long time, who you knew was when you looked into the eyes of your soulmate you see the deepest, darkest fear of your soulmate it sounds kind of sad and terrifying but that's how it worked.
Ashton Irwin and Michael Clifford were soul mates, it was the first time that Michael and Ashton ever laid eyes on each other that they both knew. The problem was that Ashton was scared of people finding out so he hides he told Michael that they aren't Soulmates and he was just being ridiculous.
The two boys found out each others fears that day and that's what made Ashton feel even more guilty. Ashton fear was of being at the bottom if that makes sense he's scared of losing reputation and Michael understood that, but Michaels fear was being Alone and being rejected. Michael hated being alone, he felt like they were leaving him forever as his father left him when he was 6. Michael felt like Ashton was leaving him forever.
That's how Michael ended up being alone on that night after they both found out they were soulmates well Michael was crying his eyes out under his covers. Ashton was out getting Drunk and finding himself a distracting with a girl, not Michael, but a girl.
