You need to smile.
You have no reason to cry.
You need to be happy for everyone.Your emotions have no meaning.
Your feelings aren't correct.
Your own personality is something you should regret. That scowl on your face is you just overreacting.
Those tears on your cheeks is just you whining.
That scream of fear is just you being jumpy.
Yet that smile on your face is absolutely lovely.I am told to smile or I won't be worthwhile.
I am told not to get mad just to laugh and pretend I am glad.
I am told not to cry , even when I feel like I am a punching bag for life.
I am told so many things , none that I believe yet I still follow everything they say to me.So I plaster a smile and force back the tears.
I laugh and I play.
On the inside though I am in pain. You need to smile , they say.
You need to smile , you tell me.
You need to smile , I say to myself.
You JUST need to smile.
