Skylar had been on the black horse for what seemed like forever to get to the border of Azegda. She halted her horse as she head the Rover catch up to her.The girl looked back at her friends and dismounted her horse petting it's neck to reaffirm her good behave during the ride. "This must be the border." Bellamy's voice broke through as everyone got out of the big metal machine.
"So where's all the ice?" Jasper asked as he followed Bellamy out of the vehicle. Skylar laughed and rolled her eyes. "Much further north Jas. Azgeda stretches for a thousand miles." Skylar informed them. It was by far one of the most fearsome tribes in the coalition. The numbers, strength and barbaric ways of life it was never one to take lightly and Skylar was ready for an attack.
"Good thing we only need to go 200 meters." Monty said as he carried around the strange sounding box that annoyed Skylar to bits. "Slow down. Remember the rules of engagement are non-lethal force." Bellamy said to the group.
"Which is just another word for seriously injure but can be healed mostly. Just cause enough underlining issues to really scare them." Skylar said as she pulled out her sword. Octavia snickered at her words as she looked to her brother who rolled her eyes.
"Tight formation around me. Raven you stay in the Rover." Bellamy ordered as everyone started to group together. "Yeah right." Raven scoffed as she started to walk.
"Let her come. She needs to get rid of that gimp somehow." Skylar said firing shots at Raven. Raven glared back at her. The two have become..acquaintances. They don't necessarily like each other but can stand one another. Skylar still holds grudges like a baby holds on to their rattle. Tight and unforgiving.
"They are coming." Monty said breaking the fun atmosphere and the sound of Skylar's sword being drawn was heard. "120 meters." Voiced were heard from a distance. "110." But English was not the language they were speaking. No it was Skylar's native tongue.
Bellamy raised his gun as Monty looked at him. "What are you doing those are our people!" He exclaimed. Bellamy glanced back at him. "We hope that they are our people." Horses were heard now as they got closer. The machine's constant beep was getting louder and more annoying. "On my command." Bellamy stated as they got into formation.
The white horses came into view and the familiar white war paint was seen. "Ice nation?" Bellamy asked Skylar as she went cold and calculated. "Yes. They have the white war paint." She stated as she began to slide her sword back into place. Holding up her hands and walking towards the group of riders. "Stay calm." She ordered Bellamy.
"Who are you?" A rider asked in a harsh sickening tone. "I am Skylar Kom Trikru. These are the Skaikru. They are looking for their people." Skylar said calmly but firmly as the man looked down from her gaze.
"Sorry Heda. We are looking for Wanheda as well." The other rider informed her. Wanheda? T he commander of death. Who would that even bee. "They think we are looking for Wanheda." She said quietly under her breath as the first rider got off his horse.
"Who's that?" Bellamy asked and almost immediately Skylar spat back her reply. "I don't know." She said as she watched the man walk up to her.
"The light that's the beacon." Monty stayed making Skylar's eyes dart to the man's side seeing a bright glowing red light covered in animal fur. "Hey get back here!" Bellamy called as Skylar felt her shoulder get bumped by Jasper. She quickly grabbed his hand and twisted it back making him scream out in pain as she gripped his forearm and pulling him back behind her.
Even though she stopped him it seemed to put the Ice Nation at the edge now. "Where is Wanheda?" The man asked harshly once again as Skylar heard the bow strings pulling back arrows.
