Skylar rode her sterling black horse right besides Lexa. Behind them was the dead Ice Queen. Skylar patted herself on the back for that victory.

Her mind always filled with thoughts that never seem to ever give her brain a rest. Her brain is always thinking. Always on. It was trying but Skylar would be scared if her brain all of a sudden stopped. It's been this way for as long as she can remember. It would be scary if it stopped.

Right now she was thinking of Arkadia. If she should go back or not. She was enjoying herself so much here that going back... back to the stares and the Pike. It was a selfish thought. She didn't like it but it was still there. Beating its way to the front of her mind.

"Thinking of Arkadia?" Lexa asked her companion. Skylar looked over at Lexa. "When am I not thinking of something?" Skylar jokes as she readjusted the reigns in her hand.

"When I left I was a different person." Skylar admitting letting Lexa in to her crazy thoughts.

"You left a hero to them. And you return as one. The Mountain Slayer returns the body of the Ice Queen. You bring them Justice Sky." Lexa said.

"You bring them justice." Skylar corrected her knowing she needed to start taking credit for these things if she wanted to gain the confidence of her people back.

"We bring them peace." Lexa corrected her with a small laugh. Skylar smiled at her and some of her nervous energy went away.

"Heda!" An anxious voice broke through their peaceful moment like a sharp knife. Men stood guard as Skylar lookednout at the horizon. An audible gasp escaped her lips as she looked at the miles of land that was filled with her people.

She scrambled off her horse as she pushed past the guards. Flies buzzed around her people as their corpses were left to rot. "No." She finally got out as the tears filled her eyes.

Lexa got off her horse and joined her side her hand going on her shoulders as they walked past the bodies. "All bullet wounds." She stuttered our. She couldn't believe her eyes. How... how could they do something like this? Slaughter hundreds of lives that were just there to protect you. Mother and children. Father and Healers. All of them dead.

"Heda! Come quick!" A voice called as Skylar sprinted over to the voice and immediately broke out in an all run as she saw Indra wounded on the ground. "Indra!"

Indra tried to sit up. "Skylar. Heda." Skylar fell to her knees and forced her to sit back. "I need a healer!" Skylar ordered as she pulled back her armor to reveal the bullet hole.

"Indra what happened here?" Lexa asked as Skylar moved to let the healer do her work.

"They attacked while we slept. Our watch was on the north looking for Azgeda. They killed our archers first. Our infantry couldn't even get close. Then they executed the wounded." Indra told the nightmare.

Skylar shook her head it didn't make sense. "The summit was two days ago. How could Kane do this?" Skylar asked.

"It wasn't Kane. It was Pike." Indra stated and Skylar's eyes closed as she sat back. She should of killed him when he first ripped Bellamy from the rover. She should of slides his neck and felt no guilt.

"How did you escape?" Lexa asked. Indra looked over to Skylar. "Bellamy." The warrior spoke and that made Skylar sit straight up.

"Bellamy? Bellamy was with them?" Skylar questioned her voice going cold and her eyes filled with betrayal.

"He wanted to spare the wounded, but they wouldn't listen. He convinced Pike to let me live so I can deliver two messages." Indra declared.

"What messages?" Skylar asked. Indra looked over at Lexa. "Skaikru rejects the coalition. This is their land now. We can leave or die." Indra stated before she looked over at Skylar.
