"Let's talk about Mount Weather." Pike said as he sat across from Bellamy. The boy he believes is a seed that just needed some guidance. "I know you think it was your fault. Is that why you resigned?" He asked. The boy looked up at him and nodded slightly before taking the shot glass and downing the contents. Pike following suit.

"You're right. It is your fault." The boy looked at him in surprise. Pike guessed everyone has sugar coated the thing to him. "Mine, too." Pike added.

"Every life we honored at the memorial was lost because we trusted a Grounder." Pike stated. Bellamy shook his head.

"I talked you and Skylar into it. I knew her and I vouched for her." Bellamy said taking the blame entirely. And Pike shook his head.

"No you don't get to own this one alone." The barmaid came and replenished their shots. Pike leaned forward and spoke in a hushed tone. "I knew what they were capable of, but I let my guard down one day and 35 of my people died."

He had his line out. Bellamy on his hook now all he had to do was reel the boy in. "Your Grounder girlfriend. She left you when all you wanted to do was do what's best for your people. I saw how she acted around you. She has her own peoples need first. She wanted to keep the peace not keep our people happy and safe."

Bellamy looked at him with wide lost eyes.

"She left you because of one mistake. She never cared about you boy. She only cared about what you could give her. You are a leader Bellamy Blake. She took advantage of that." Pike said as he raised his shot glass. "Never again will I trust another Grounder." He oath.

Bellamy looked at his glass and after a few mere seconds he lifted it up clinking it with Pike's. "Never again." Bellamy said. Hook, line, sinker. Pike got him now he had to make sure he kept him.

"Kane's a good man...I know you are close to him but he doesn't believe that we're fighting a war. He thinks Grounders can police Grounders. I mean the woods outside our home with a 'peace keeping' force?"

Bellamy's eyebrows furrowed. "What would you do?" The young man asked.

"What I wouldn't do... is what for them to hit us." He got Bellamy's wheels turning in his head. He could see it. "My scouts told me they've got 300 soldiers and not a single gun between them. Ten highly motivated men with automatic rifles is all it would take. I've got the men." He said as Bellamy looked around them his eyes connecting with Pike's men.

"You're asking me to get you the guns?" Bellamy asked. Pike nodded his head. "That's treason."

"That's survival." Pike corrected him. "The Grounders out there will attack this Camp, and our leaders do nothing. Right now, we have the element of surprise. We wait, we die. And if they want to call it treason. I'm willing to suffer the consequences to save our people."

Pike locked eyes with Bellamy. "Are you?"

Bellamy looked around them back at Pike. His head gave him a short nod and that's all Pike needed. His plan was green lighted time to fill this grass with Grounder blood.

The drums were no match to Skylar's heart beat that filled her ears as she stood before Lexa and the Ambassadors. Roan, her brother, by her side. People yelling for Skylar others cheered for their Prince.

It was ironic to Skylar how she used to dream about having a true sibling. Her mother would come and find her and she would go live with them. And now she was here. Her brother by her side. Ready to kill her and her mother watching not even hours ago threatening her head.

She didn't want to kill Roan. In fact she didn't want to win this fight. She wanted Roan to go back to Ice Nation. To go back to his home he so desperately wanted. The place where he loved. But she had more to worry about. She had a larger population she had to fight for. For the well being of her people for Ontari and Nia would be horrible leaders only leading with Strength and power. And that never makes for a good Heda.
