Skylar put her hood up as she made her way outside the massive tower. She needed to talk to the Prince. He came in peace once and before their battle she would want to talk in peace again.

She blended with the crowd as she headed towards the queen and her gathering of guards.  "I want her head." The Queen said as Skylar stood behind a shop. If she was Skylar's mother she had a funny way of showing the love.

Roan was testing out the new sword he just received from his mother. Their mother. She hardly believed it. She stepped outside in the view as the blunt side of the blade Roan was swinging around landed just centimeters from her neck.

"Is that nightblood I smell?" He asked as Skylar pushed his sword away with a scoff and pulled down her hood. "I came to talk." Skylar stated.

"We have nothing to talk about sister." Roan said as his sword fell beside him. "We have plenty to talk about. Like how you stalked me. How you thought not telling me you were my brother the first time you saw me didn't cross your head. How I don't necessarily want to kill you in this battle." Skylar declared as her eyes matched with his. He had blues eyes as well. Something Skylar wasn't used too looking at. But it made sense. Her family seemed to be the only Grounders with this gene.

"You seemed eager to jump in when Heda was deciding." Roan stated. "What do you want? Just spit it out?"

Skylar stepped forward. "I want you to become the king." Roam looked at her with doubt. "I know you have thought about it before. "She was willing to let you die. Willing to let you be banished. Hell she doesn't care about us. She told you she wanted my head. I know you want to just go home Roan." Skylar said.

"When I win today I will."his voice was unsure like he knew that was a lie.

"For how long. I will tell you until your mother finds another reason to cast you out again. To sacrifice you." Skylar declared and Roan looked away from her shaking his head. "No one. No one can cast a King out of his kingdom."

Roan looked at her. "I can't do it. My people would never take me back." Roan started and Skylar smirked.

"But you can help me do it." Skylar stated and the two siblings smiled at each other. Let the games begin.

Pike. He was the man making all the peace unravel before Lincoln's eyes. It was like these past four months of building a relationship between the Grounders and the Sky People was falling because of one man and his anger.

Skylar always said Anger can drive an army but it can not lead a cause. As he heard Pikes speech about them not needing the extra forces Commander Lexa had sent it made him mad. If Skylar was heat she would of spoke up. Calmed the people down. Explain why we would need them. She was always better at speaking than he was.

And as he felt the rock hit his head chaos broke out. An uproar of voice broke out. His fellow guards protected him but Lincoln was to far gone in his thoughts.

Whistle

A whistle made everyone stop. "The enemy isn't inside these walls! Fighting with each other will only make us weaker! The enemy is out there!" Pike rallied. Abby ran up to him. He covered his wound with his hand.

"Lincoln are you alright?" She asked trying to move his hand to see. He nodded his head as he turned his back on her. "I'm alright."

"Lincoln! You need to get to medical." Baby called for himbut Lincoln couldn't stand being in that room any longer.

He stumbled outside and fell sliding down a wall. How could so much chaos follow one man. Why did Skylar choose now to go play Heda. She should be here. He hit the side of the wall.
