One Week Later

My (e/c) orbs scanned the surrounding area. There was really nobody on the subway today, which was pretty rare in the morning after work. The blue and white seats appeared to be clean, as well as the sleek black floor. A nice aroma greeted my nose as a familiar figure walked into the train. Looking over, my eyes met with ecstatic, lavender orbs. A smile played on the female's lips as her long, black locks swayed behind her.  Her blue A-line dress swayed with her movement and her wedges clacked on the train floor. Sitting beside me, the female set her messenger bag down and crossed her legs. Her dress looked freshly ironed and the pleasant aroma grew stronger, 'She's finally using the perfume I bought her,' I thought as a small smile formed on my lips.

"(Y/n)," Yukako beamed, "It's good to see you! What are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same of you. I'm going to a friend's hous-"

Giggling, she interrupted me, "Josuke?"

Her question caused a bright pink blush to dust my cheeks. 'How did she know? Why did she guess HIM so fast?' Noticing my bashful expression, she smiled warmly and tucked a stray, black lock behind her ear. Josuke... that's all I've been able to think about this past week. Maybe it was because I helped him fight off that crazy manga artist? Who knows.

"Y-Yeah," I replied, blushing and rubbing the back of my neck.

"Ah! I knew it," she smiled, "Koichi told me about your encounter with that manga artist. I can't believe he would even touch MY KOICHI in such a harmful manner. He will pa-"

"Yukako! Please calm down," I patted her back, "We took care of that."

Her angry frown contorted into a calm, neutral expression, "You're right. I'll still get my fair share of punishment."

"Well, I won't argue with that."

"You know... Josuke likes you."

Her comment caused me to blush furiously, "W-What make-"

"Koichi told me how he acts around you. (Y/n), he likes you."

When she brought that up, the memory was recalled back into my consciousness. Something felt so... different about him. Ever since we beat the manga artist, things have just been... awkward? Well, not exactly awkward, just very different.

Five Days Ago

My (e/c) eyes laid on Josuke, who was arguing with Rohan, the crazy manga artist. Looking past Josuke, Rohan made eye contact with me and smirked. He held a paper in his hand that he ripped from Koichi's face earlier. Averting his gaze, a smug grin crossed his face as he read the paper.

"Ah! It says here if I insult you about your hair, you will get angry. Hmm... it also says if I talk about your feelings about (Y/n), you will get mad too."

My face contorted into a confused expression. W-What the hell is he talking about? Why would Josuke get mad? Josuke glanced back at me with an embarrassed, yet furious expression. Okuyasu had the same expression on his face as me while Rohan was grinning menacingly. Feelings? What did he mean? Does he... like me too? My heart skipped a beat and my cheeks broke out into a bright blush.

"W-Wha-"

"The paper doesn't lie," Rohan cut Okuyasu off, "Now let's see... You think your hairstyle is cool but it is lame. It looks like a nest for a dirty little bird. As for (Y/n)... you will never have a chance with her."

Josuke clenched his fists and gritted his teeth harshly. He was trying so hard to keep his composure. Smirking, Rohan flicked Josuke's pompadour in a playful manner. Okuyasu and Koichi gasped loudly since they knew what was going to happen. A small smirk played on my (s/c) lips. His ass is done for now. Crazy Diamond appeared in front of Josuke and continuously struck Rohan. His hits were so fast that I could barely see them. All I heard was the loud sounds of fists hitting against skin and groans of pain. Rohan summoned Heaven's Door and smirked as if he had won. Of course, it didn't work. Josuke shrugged off Rohan's attempt to get the upper hand in battle like nothing. His stand punched Rohan into the bookcase, causing it to break and fall over. The furniture in the room was scattered about and Rohan weakly crawled under the desk to hide. Josuke angrily flung the furniture around, searching for Rohan.
