The sweet scent of freshly brewed coffee greeted my nose as I stared out the window, resting my chin on my hand. Flowers from the nearby sakura trees ride the wind, swirling in every direction before gently falling onto the walnut brown sidewalk. Children excitedly ran by the window, chatting about the flowers and picking them up. A small smile forms on my lips upon seeing the children laugh and play in the flowers. Today is off to a pretty good start; I finally got the chance to catch up with Reimi and I got off work early. Hmm... I wonder what Josuke is up to? Sipping on my coffee, I set it down on the white table and drift off into my thoughts. I hope Josuke stops by the bakery today; he told me he would. Reimi is right, he does have a heart of gold. Damn, why the fuck didn't I find him before Yuya? Never have I thought that I would find somebody so loving and caring, though he can be a real pain in the ass at times. Nevertheless, he's the perfect boyfriend anybody can ask for. Bringing my attention back to my surroundings, I stand up and walk behind the bakery counter. My shoes clacked against the white tile as I set the empty coffee cup by the sink. Mikoto, who was washing the dishes, glanced at the coffee cup with her (e/c) orbs and groaned.

"Seriously?! I was almost done, (Y/n)," she sighs dramatically.

"One cup won't kill you," I giggle, "Besides, it's what you get for teasing me about Josuke."

"Oh, your boyfriend? I thought it would happen anyway. I'm always right," she grins.

"Only that time you were right," I laugh.

"You seem to be in a really good mood today, what's the scoop? Seeing Josuke soon?"

"Well, he did say he's stopping by in a few so we can go hang out with Okuyasu and Koichi, I just hope he hasn't gotten in any trouble on the way. We are supposed to go to the park."

"He doesn't seem like the delinquent type to me, although he looks the part. Maybe he's just running late? Don't worry so much," she smiles, patting my back.

"Yeah... you're right," I return the smile.

"Hopefully he's here before Hikaru gets here, you know how much of an annoying fucktard he is about you and Josuke," she laughs, cleaning my coffee cup and setting it to dry.

Rolling my eyes, I say, "He can fuck off. I don't get his deal, why does he have to tease me about every single thing I do?"

"As his sister, I can tell you he's much worse to me than you. Trust me, you're lucky."

"I can believe that," I giggle, "Anyways, I'm going to go back to the dining area."

"Alright, see you soon, (Y/n)," she smiles.

Going back to the table, I sit down and return to aimlessly staring out the window, hoping Josuke would show up before my annoying cousin does. For some reason, the conversation I had with Reimi comes to mind. I try not to worry too much about Kira's disappearance but ever since I talked to Reimi, it's been on my mind? Where could he be hiding? Am I still a target? Am I safe here? I have to find him soon. Who knows what he's doing now. I can't let him hurt innocent people anymore. Reimi surely didn't deserve death, neither did his other victims. Maybe I should talk this over with Josuke and the gang? I'm sure they'd understand my growing concern.

A Few Hours Ago

"Oiiii, (Y/n)~ It's good to finally see you again," Reimi beamed, pulling me into a friendly embrace.
