I groaned for the umpteenth time, dropping my head in my hands.

"I don't understand anything!" I wailed. "I'm failing all my classes! Goodbye, future."

Blaise was too busy laughing at my demise to answer, while Pansy rolled her eyes.

"Stop being so melodramatic." She snapped, flipping open her textbook.

"Anyone seen Draco lately?" Daphne asked suddenly, sliding into our conversation, and the seat beside me.

I glanced around at the mention of Draco.

The Great Hall was filled with students, laughing or studying, but there was no platinum blonde hair in sight.

"He's been so distant lately," Pansy discussed, bringing her voice down a little bit.

All of us naturally leant it, like we always would to gossip.

"You've noticed it, surely?"

Blaise nodded, agreeing with Pansy. "Yeah. He hardly speaks to Flint or I anymore. He's always... Gone."

Blaise muttered, frowning.

Daphne arch an eyebrow, "Reckon what he's up to?"

"Probably just his family giving him a hard time," I explained quickly, brushing off any suspicion about Draco. "You know how they are. They expect too much. They probably wanted him to pick his grades back up. I've seen him studying by himself a lot lately."

Of course, studying was the least of Draco's concerns right now.

"So you see him a lot, eh?" Blaise questioned, smirking.

I shot him a look, and with that, things went back to normal.

Pansy returned her attention back to studying, while Blaise and Daphne easily fell into conversation.

I sat there, glum. I wasn't in a good mood today.

As I was watching people, my eyes drifted to my brother.

He was laughing and talking to Hermione. Harry was seated opposite them, grinning.

I hid a small smile.

It was times like these that you realised how much of home Hogwarts really was.

Of course, I couldn't help but wonder about my family.

I was particularly worried Fred and George would burn their shop down. And Bill, who I hardly even see anymore.

Growing up, Bill was always a little distant, in comparison to the rest of my siblings. That was expected though, he was the oldest.

The closest one he was to, was Charlie, who I get to see once every year, at Christmas.

I was closer to Charlie than I was to Bill, but I loved both so much. Bill was always protective and ready to punch someone for me, and Charlie was always the one who would talk things out, with reason.

And Percy, he was perhaps the most distant from me. He was distant from all of us really.

He loved following the rules, and the rest of us didn't.

Percy was always cold, but I noticed how much of strangers we've become, ever since he learnt of my sorting into Slytherin. He didn't approve of my friends.

A while later, he left us. New house, new life, new career. It didn't really affect me.

I smiled, a particular memory flashing across my mind.
