Draco Malfoy stared at the girl beside him.

Aria Weasley was sound asleep, snoring softly.

She had arrived at the manor a few hours ago, much to Draco's delight. He had missed her terribly. But she was asleep the moment her head touched Draco's pillow, so he hadn't spoken to her.

He just laid beside her as the hours passed, watching her, and growing more in love with her. Much to his disbelief. He didn't think it possible, but here he was.

He raised his hand to Aria's face, gently brushing her skin.

"Draco."

Draco jumped, whirling around to see his mother at the door frame. He hadn't even heard her come in.

There was an expression on her face that scared Draco.

"Draco, your aunt calls for you."

Then Narcissa Malfoy left, leaving her son clueless.

Draco quickly scrambled off the bed. He started forward, before he rushed back, placing a light kiss on Aria's forehead.

He ran out the room, shutting the door quietly. He had only descended the stairs midway when he stopped, the breath lodged in his throat.

There, in his hall, kneeled three all too familiar figures.

"Draco," Bellatrix Lestrange smiled at her nephew, beckoning him forward. "Come here."

Draco made his way over, stiffly. He bent down slightly before the kneeling form of Harry Potter.

The first thing Draco noticed was that there was something wrong with Potter's face.

"So, is this him? Harry Potter?" Bellatrix asked impatiently.

"What's wrong with his face?" Draco breathed out shakily.

Bellatrix straightened, looking at the group of Snatchers by the side, "Yeah, what's wrong with his face?"

The leader, Scabior, Draco believed, shrugged, "Dunno. We found him like that. Assume it's something he picked up in the forest."

Bellatrix narrowed her eyes, "Or he was hit by a stinging jinx."

She gestured to  Scabior, "Give me her wand."

Draco looked on helplessly as his aunt revealed that Hermione had cast the stinging jinx to protect Harry.

Bellatrix grinned in manic glee, but a voice sounded before anything left her mouth.

"Draco?"

A soft, sleepy voice sounded, tearing at Draco's heart.

"What's going on..." Aria Weasley trailed off as her eyes fell upon the scene before her. She stopped rubbing her eyes, staring at only one person in horror. And he was staring right back at her.

"Ron." Aria whispered.

Draco's eyes snapped to his aunt, who was moving forward, but he was faster. He reached out and grabbed his girlfriend, pushing her behind his body.

Bellatrix could only stare at her nephew in disbelief. How dare he let that Weasley girl in here?

Draco glanced around in fear, before he all but dragged Aria Weasley up the stairs.

"Draco, Draco, he's there, he's there." Aria panicked, thrashing in Draco's hold.

"Love, I know," Draco told her, locking the bedroom door behind them.
