I sit up and blink my eyes until my vision clears. It's still pouring, and I'm still in Alex's bed, but he's gone.

I wonder into the kitchen, rubbing my eyes.

"Good morning," I greet Alex.

"Morning," he says, scrambling breakfast eggs.

I head towards my room to see Michael, but the door is locked. It's probably a bad idea to bring it up with Alex. I don't want him to get rid of Michael just because I annoyed him.

We eat breakfast together, and he hands me an extra bowl along with an empty bottle. "For your boyfriend. Whether he eats or not, I don't care. Just make sure he pisses in the bottle. I don't want to have to clean up human pee."

I nod. I know I don't have room to argue about Michael's treatment.

He unlocks the door and follows me inside.

Michael is still asleep. With the cloud bed, who could blame him? I touch his shoulder.

"Nina?" he asks, confused.

"Good morning. I have breakfast," I say with a friendly smile.

I feed him the cereal, then hold the bottle up for him to see. "This is for you to pee in."

I turn to Alex, hoping he would uncuff Michael or at least give him some privacy, but he remains where he is. He looks annoyed. I gulp as I realise what he expects me to do.

I turn back to Michael. "He isn't going to uncuff you. Are you okay with me helping you?"

"Better you than him," he grunts.

"Are you sure you're okay with this?" I know I wouldn't be.

"It's alright. Let's get it over with."

I stare at his shirt, unable to look him in the eye. "I can close my eyes if it helps."

"Nina." He draws my gaze back to his face. "I get that you're nervous having to hold a dick, but I really need to piss. Could we please hurry this up?"

"I was nervous for you, not for me." I retort, pulling his pants down.

My expression changes when I see him exposed. This is just wrong. How can he be stoic in this situation?

Then it hits me – he has always been stronger than me. I would be freaking out if I was in his position, but he's calm and collected, like he doesn't even care. I hope that I can be as strong as him one day.

"Bigger than you thought?" he says with a smile.

"Very funny."

I help him pee in the bottle, making sure to touch him as little as possible, out of respect for him.

"Get your leash and a warm set of clothes. We're going out," Alex orders.

I do as he says, though I wished he hadn't of called it 'my leash' in front of Michael.

I clean the bottle, shower and change. The swimsuit makes my underlayer of clothes damp, but I can live with it.

I wait for Alex by the front door with the chain locked around my neck.

He takes the chain and grabs an umbrella. "I don't trust you alone with him, so you're coming with me to work."

He unlocks the door, and we step into the icy wind and rain. He opens the umbrella. I pull up my hoodie and latch onto his arm.

It takes around twenty minutes for us to reach our destination. It's a military base. There are guards with huge guns all over the place. They're rather intimidating, so I keep my head down.
