Sam and Lexxi dress quickly, Lexxi grabs her journal off the desk and they head off down the hallway. Lexxi has her journal open, acting like she's showing Sam something, just as Dean turns the corner.

"There you two are, find anything on Lucifer or the blade?" Dean asks.

"Maybe, where are Cas and Jack?" Sam replies. Dean nods his head down the hall towards the library. They go to meet the others.

"Jack, what happened?" Lexxi asks, rushing towards Jack, taking his chin in her hands, turning his face to the side so she can examine the long gash running down his cheek.

"The kid's fine got in a tussle with a tree branch," Dean says laughing. Lexxi looks to Jack, who sighs and nods his head, embarrassed. Lexxi shakes her head and turns to the others.

"So I think I found an archangel blade, I hoped it wouldn't come to this but..," Lex begins.

"Where is it?" Dean demands.

"With Michael..." Lexxi says Cas cuts her off.

"We would need Michael to wield the blade. Only archangels can wield an archangel blade." Cas says flatly, looking to Dean.

"It's a good thing I made a deal then. Looks like this is our only shot," Dean says.

Sam, Cas, and Lex look around the room at each other, Dean made the deal with Michael before they could stop him. They thought they could find another way, but this is it. THis is how they defeat Lucifer.

"And if we play this out the right way, we can take them both out at once," Lexxi says.

"One problem, we don't know where the son-of-a-bitch is, either of them!"Dean says.

"No, but we're getting close, we can summon Michael, but we need to find Lucifer. It's going to take some time, but this could be our only shot at stopping both of them.

Dean is silent for a few minutes. "What's the plan?" Dean asks suddenly, sinking into a chair.

"We're gonna need everyone. Mom, Dad, Bobby, Jody, all the hunters we can gather. Crowley and Rowena are on board, Rowena is recruiting any witches she can, Crowley will command the demons in his power. Cas we need you and Jack and any angels you can convince to help us. We need all the power we can get. There's an abandoned farm in rural Arizona, we bring Michael in first, then lure in Lucifer. Demon traps alone won't be enough to hold them both. This is where Crowley, Cas, and Jack are needed, it will take everything you all have to keep Michael and Lucifer trapped long enough for them to turn on each other, if that doesn't work Rowena will cast them both to the cage." Sam explains.

"How will we be sure Michael turns on Lucifer?" Jack asks.

"We hope he does, just like he did on apocalypse world's Lucifer," Lexxi says.

"I'll make sure he does," Dean says sternly.

Cas chimes in, "Using the blade against Lucifer should only kill the archangel within the vessel, not the vessel itself. Same for Dean and Michael."

"Should??" Sam asks.

"Yes, I cannot be certain," Cas says, "If Rowena would have to cast Lucifer and Michael to the cage, we would lose Dean as well."

"Let's find the son-of-a-bitch and get this done" Dean says before walking off.  Sam looks to Cas, Lexxi and Jack.

"This is the only way isn't it?" he says, questioning.

"It's the only way," Lexxi replies.

Weeks go by, they've found Lucifer and continue to track his movements across Arizona waiting on the perfect time to attack.

Sam, Dean, Cas, and Lexxi are in the Library finalizing plans, no one has slept in days. Lexxi walks out suddenly, Sam and Dean don't notice. She hasn't been feeling well the past few days, between no sleep and all the stress she's amazed no one else is sick.

"Where did you go?" Dean asks when Lexxi returns to the library. She goes to reply when Cas interrupts.

"Lexxi, how long have you felt ill?" Cas asks, eyeing Lexxi strangely.

She looks back at Cas, wondering how he knew..."A few days, it's nothing really, just a stomach bug," Lexxi responds. It is a stomach bug, but she downplays how terrible she really feels, no need to have the guys worrying about her right now with all that's going on.

"Lexxi, you should lay down, get some rest, we'll finish up here," Sam says concerned, walking over to Lexxi.

"Sammy's right, go rest up, we'll need you in fighting shape, I'm counting on you to have my back," Dean says, looking up to see Sam's hand on Lexxi's forehead, the other resting on her waist. Sam is talking to Lexxi, Dean can't hear what he's saying, Lex nods and walks away.

"Isn't Lex supposed to be the nurse?" Dean says, a bit of mockery in his voice.

"W..what?" Sam says.

"You were.....never mind," Dean says as Sam sits down, obviously distracted, "You two have gotten awfully close."

Sam's head snaps up, he's looking at Dean. "She's sick, I'm just want to make sure she's okay."

"Like I said, isn't she the nurse? Don't you think I want to make sure she's okay too?... Sammy, what's going on?" Dean asks.

"Nothing is going on Dean! We're the only family she has, and if anything were to happen to her, it's our fault." Sam snaps back.

"Sam, it's a stomach bug, she'll be fine, she's been through worse. Now let's get back to work," Dean says turning back to the pile of books and papers that are scattered across the table.

A few hours later Sam and Dean call it a night and head to bed.

"Lexxi," Sam whispers. Lexxi stirs and her eyes flutter open.

"W..what time is it?" She asks.

"Late, I just wanted to see how you're feeling and I brought you some ginger-ale," Sam says, as he sits on the edge of the bed. Lexxi sits up and scoots next to Sam, resting her head on his shoulder.

"Why didn't you tell me you were sick?" Sam asks.

"Because it's nothing, and I'm a nurse, I can take care of a little stomach bug. We don't need any distractions right now, we are so close to getting Michael and the blade, so close to ending Lucifer," Lexxi says.

"Okay, but I want you to rest, no hunting, no working, until we're ready for Lucifer. Dean is right we're going to need you full health," Sam begins, "Now go back to sleep, I'll see you in the morning." Sam kisses Lexxi gently on the forehead and quietly leaves the room. He closes the door shut behind him, and turns to find Cas standing in front of him.

"Is Lexxi okay?" Cas asks Sam.

"Yeah she's fine, I was just checking on her, gave her some ginger-ale to settle her stomach," Sam says hesitantly, "Night Cas." Sam hurries off towards his own room.

Cas waits a few minutes before going into Lexxi's room, she's asleep. He walks over to the side of her bed, places two fingers to her forehead, does his healing angel magic and leaves the room.
