Chapter Twelve:
"Alison" Luke called, capturing my attention. He held two shirts up against his body. "Which one?" He asked.
"You're such a girl haha, but I like the checkered one." I said pointing to the red and black shirt on his right.
"Hmm.. Yeah you're right. This one so." He nodded.
I smiled at him and took a sip from the warm mug of tea Luke had left on the table wrapping my cosy sweater around my hands and neck.
"Hey that's mine!"
"Relax Hemmings, I just took a sip." I grinned.
He scrunched his face up at me. "Fine, but I don't feel bad about leaving you tonight anymore."
"Oh no, how will I live without you here?" I teased.
"You won't, obviously." He said.
I grinned up at him, "Yeah, you're right."
Ten minutes later he appeared back in my room.
"Alright so I'm heading out now and i'm guessing I probably won't be back till around 2. Don't spend the whole night watching doctor who."
I narrowed my eyes at him, "Yes mother."
"Good, bye Ali." He said.
"Bye Luke."
I waited a few minutes after Luke had left before texting Michael.
'the coast is clear x'
Michael came around to the house a while later. I bounced in my shoes as I opened the door. It had been a week since Michael and I had been alone together, and although we saw each other a few times since then, we were always surrounded by other people. He smiled at me, putting his arm around my waist and pulling my body closer to him for a kiss.
"Hi." I said with a grin.
"Hi back." He smiled.
I grabbed onto his hand and led him into the kitchen closing the door behind me with my foot.
"Cookies!"
"What?" Michael asked, looking around the room in search of cookies.
"Let's bake some!" My face lit up.
Michael laughed but agreed. We pulled the necessary ingredients out and began mixing together. When the dough was ready, and Mikey's back was turned, I quickly stuck my finger into the bowl and popped it into my mouth.
"I saw that." Michael said.
"Saw what?" I asked innocently.
Michael raised an eyebrow at me. "I saw you do this," he stuck his own finger into the bowl, but instead of eating the dough, he wiped it on my face.
"Mikey."
"Yes?" He said with a grin challenging me.
"We are not doing the whole cliché food fight.."
"Aww." He fake pouted.
I couldn't help but smile at how cute he looked. I wiped the dough off my cheek as best I could.
"You missed some." He whispered, leaning forward to kiss my cheek.
"All good."We put the cookies in the oven and set the timer.
"What do you want to do while we wait?" I asked.
"I have an idea.."
Michael lifted me up onto the counter so we were the same height. Our lips met as I ran a hand through his soft hair, pulling him closer.
"Michael.." I was cut off by his lips on mine.
"Mhmm?"
"Let's go to my room with a small moan."
Michael nodded and led the way down to my bedroom, laying me down on the bed and propping himself up on top of me.
I felt his tounge explore my mouth, and I used my own to trace my lips. Rolling us over so I was on top, I straddled him with a small giggle. I pushed my hair off to the side and leaned forward to kiss him.
Michael and I quickly broke apart, hearing a cough come from the doorway. I froze.
