Chapter 3~The Mysterious Boy

I looked towards patch and i could see the redness in his eyes,to be honest it made me feel worried even though we just met.

"Come on leah lets go and sit down"

She said softly i nodded then the both of us walked over to our chairs and sat down,patch,oliver and erick sat behind us.

My focus turned to patch again,i opened my mouth to ask him if he was okay but nothing came out.

"Ladies and gentleman i would like introduce our academy headmaster"

I turned my attention towards the stage,a old looking well built gentleman wearing a blue suit,white shirt with blue tie and black shoes he had short white hair and white beard.

He walked up to the podium and then stood infront of the microphone.

"I welcome everyone to raizen academy,i hope everyone here will enjoy themselves and learn alot while being here also my name is Mr Richard Philips if you have any questions about the academy or anything please feel free to visit my office"

He said introducing himself to us,i had to admit he was sure looking well for his age.

"Geez how long is this old guy gonna keep talking"

Erick sighed and whispered,oliver nudged him on the arm and told him to be quiet.

I giggled silently then looked towards sean he was just staring at me,looking away i looked towards the stage.

"Also dear students please follow the rules and also not to enter the dark woods as it is forbidden thank you"

Everyone clapped and got up,but before anyone could leave the male told us that our luggage's have been placed in our dorm rooms along with our uniforms and our schedules.

Once we left the hall,the other students went to check out the academy all i wanted to do was just relax and read a book.

"I think i am going to check out the training arena"

Said lucinda with a smile,patch offered to go with her but she shook her head.

"I will be fine patch go and have fun or check out the academy"

She said with a smile then ran off towards the training arena,erick and oliver looked at me.

"Go with her if you want to or just go and enjoy yourselves"

I said both nodded then bowed as they left,i sighed softly as patch chuckled softly

"They do adore you"

He said with a smile towards me.

"You think so? well i do enjoy their company but i want them to have fun and not always guard me"

I replied 

"Oh is that so you may not know it but your lucky to have them"

I turned towards him and smiled,but then a voice shouted out our direction turned towards a boy who had wolf like ears and tail wearing a plain clothes running towards us.

"What is the matter?"

I asked the boy stopped and panted softly.

"Me and my friend were hanging out by the lake and all of a sudden these three guys show up one of them wanted to start a fight."

"But both of us didn't want to fight as we are not a violent type of people but then something happened this one guy got shrouded by darkness or something then without a blink of a eye my friend was on the ground crying out in pain."

My eyes widened,how could anyone do something that horrible i looked towards patch his eyes were redder before then without saying anything he ran off at incredible speed towards the lake.

"Hey patch wait for us!"

I yelled as me and the boy began to follow him,towards the lake as we arrived we could see that there were group of students around them.

"Ha your pathetic for a elf one of the weakest races as of that i will end your life!"

Sean shouted and laughed evilly,then clutching his fist which engulfed in dark flames he launched it towards the boy on the ground.

"NO!!!"

I yelled out and patch was about to block it by getting infront but all of a sudden a boy with long blonde hair with green eyes,wearing casual clothing appeared then blocked it.
