Chapter 19~The Dark Kingdom

"Now that the demon lord has been released what do we do now?"

Sean asked folding his arms and leaning against the wall,waiting for a answer the vampire looked over with such a cold look in his eyes.

"Like our demon lord said we have our little present here will be a great addition to our plan"

I looked up at the vampire then looked away,he smirked and looked back to the others. I began to feel the fear inside of me that i had to try to stop my body from shaking.

(I got to get out of here but how...)

Thinking to myself..i began to look around the cave wondering if there was a secret panel or something but nothing i couldn't see.

"If you are thinking of escaping then you have no hope princess"

I looked over to the man who was there on the first day grinning at me,he approached me then grabbed my chin as he tipped my head up slightly.

"H..how..did you know..."

He chuckled then placed one of his finger onto my forehead,as he did a marking appeared onto my forehead.

"Because i read your mind princess..and with this seal i placed on your forehead i can read your thoughts whatever your thinking of"

He smirked and then let my chin go he went to join sean and the others.

My body was trembling i never felt so scared until now,trying to hold my tears back this nightmare i wanted it to stop.

"Patch..lucinda..everyone hurry and save me.."

Back at the castle sebastian and sion stormed into the throne room,noticing clarissa was not here they hurried to the balcony where she stood with her staff in her hand.

"Your highness we have bad news the horde of monsters have approached the kingdom"

"You must flee your highness and let us take care of them"

Sion suggested but she stood there in silence looking up at the sky until she spoke.

"Evacuate the citizens and prepare for battle i will try to hold them off as best as i can.."

"But your h---"

All of a sudden sion's voice was cut off as a laugh was heard,fearing the worst the three headed inside and to appear was the demon woman.

"You!? how did you manage to get in"

Clarissa said with a low growl and prepared to fight her,but she clicked her tongue and waved one of her fingers.

"I would becareful my dear sister or something bad will happen to your daughter"

Clarissa's eyes opened wide hearing that her daughter was captured.

"That is a good woman now lets have some fun"

With a cold dark laugh the demon woman launched a dark orb towards her,clarissa used her staff to create a barrier.

"Where is my daughter you better have not hurt her!"

"Oh don't you worry she is perfectly fine..but i wonder how long though..hehehehe"

Both exchanged words and began to fight,it was true that the demon woman was strong but clarissa was alot stronger.

They continued to exchange blows and attacks,until the demon woman was knocked back and fell onto her knees gasping and coughing.

"This is for my daughter..."

Raising her staff in the air with surrounding light energy she slammed it down onto the ground,a wave of light energy swam through the ground towards the demon woman.

"N..no this cant be happening!!!!"

The demon woman screamed as the light almost hit her it was diverted none other then the demon lord,who appeared holding a ancient looking sword with a dark purple aura around it.

"I..it can't be..."

With one swing of his sword a powerful dark energy rushed towards clarissa,but sion and sebastian got infront of her to block it.

Light surrounded the room until it cleared,clarissa looked up and her eyes widened seeing sion and sebastian trapped in a dark sphere.

"If you want them to live then surrender goddess otherwise i will kill them.."

He said in a cold tone of voice,clarissa glared at the demon lord and dropped her staff and remained in spot as his undead monster guards surrounded her.

"Guards take the queen to the dungeon but wait i have someone here you want to see you"

With a click of his fingers,sean and the others appeared beside the demon lord along with leah.

"Leah!!"

I heard mother's voice and looked over to see her,tears ran down my cheeks as i broke from sean's grip then ran over hugging her tightly.

"M..mother..!!"

I began to cry uncontrollably my grip around her tightened,not wanting to let go.

"How touching but unfortunaly this reunion will have to be cut short"

With a snap of his finger the vampire walked over and pulled me away from her,i called out to her as she called out also trying to reach out for me.

"Now take the queen and as for you princess you will remain here in the throne room as my prisoner"

I ignored his words and watched in sadness as my mother was being taken away,i fell to my knees then placed my head into my hands.

"Now we shall begin!"

Gathering his energy he summoned a large dark looking crystal in the middle of the room,it began to glow brightly.

"Heed my words...give me your power..to consume this light forever and let darkness reign for eternity!!!"

With his words the dark crystal glowed more brightly then ever,the dark energy unleashed from it began to surround everything then eventually it went into the sky and then began to pour down with such fast speed.

In a hour avalon was no more filled with light,citizens were captured and imprisoned but those who swore their allegiance to the demon lord was spared.

The towns,the landscape and the animals also the life went dark and barren,the castle then changed shape almost like a stack of cards with a tower on top.

As for the throne room it's lightness was vanished and it was filled with darkness,the decorations turned into like a medieval dark type decorations the throne was big and large spiked with purple crystals.

"This is is now my kingdom!"

He laughed then walked over to the throne and sat down,laughing in victory as sean and the others kneeled down infront of him.

"ALL HAIL THE KING!!!"
