Chapter 7~The Cloaked Figure

Back at the castle,clarissa sitting infront of her desk in her study,as she was filling out the paperwork prepared for the next meeting.

The door opened up a gentleman tall and well built,he had short green hair and emerald green eyes wearing a black and gold jacket,black pants and silver boots his sword was sheathed at his side.

"I thought you would be asleep your highness"

The male spoke,clarissa smiled and continued on her paperwork.

"Sebastian you know me i can't leave these it has to be done plus it takes my mind of being worried about leah"

She replied in a soft voice.

"If you mean the princess then don't worry i am sure she is well protected"

Sebastian replied back as he leaned against the wall with his arms crossed.

"I am sure she is fine but i never missed her so much,even when the time comes she will take over the throne as queen of Avalon"

Clarissa sighed and then placed her pen down,then got up and walked over to the window looking out towards the garden.

"Your highness i know it has been tough since you lost your husband and it has been tough on princess leah aswell,but we will always be here to serve you until we are killed"

He replied in a soft tone,clarissa turned to him and smiled.

"Thank you i appreciate what you,oliver and erick do and please if anything is troubling you or them you can come to me"

Sebastian nodded and smiled back.

"I will let you finish off your paperwork while i ask one of the maid to make you some herbal tea"

"Thank you and i appreciate it"

He said and clarissa replied back,sebastian pushed himself off against the wall then walked out closing the door but not all the way.

Clarissa looked back out of the window towards the garden, she then headed back to her desk.

Looking at the paper work she sighed and sat down in her chair,picking up the pen she continued filling out the paperwork.

Sebastian made his way down the hallway,but then all of a sudden he stopped and unsheathed his sword.

"I know your hiding there come out now"

He said in a dark cold tone voice,as a black and blue cloaked figure dressed from head to toe with black boots,a black mask was covering his mouth.

He held a ancient looking slim shaped dagger in his hand,as his was jet black covering one of his eye and the other eye was crimson red.

"So it is true what they say now days the almighty hybrid has become a dog for the goddess"

The figure said with a smirk on his face,but his mask was covering that.

"Say what you want traitor and it was thanks to her highness she showed me the right path"

Sebastian replied with a scoff,then went into his attack pose.

"Once i am rid of you and the queen the princess will be ours and my king shall rule this pathetic realm!"

He dashed towards sebastian,who grinned then dashed towards the figure both swung their weapon's then it clashed with a loud screeching sound.

Sebastian and the hooded figure jumped back and dashed towards each other again,but this time the hooded figure swung his dagger but sebastian blocked it with his sword the two were locked in sword stances.

"I see you have grown alot but as you must know i can not let you live"

He said as he headbutted sebastian making him stumbled back clutching his forehead,letting the figure unleash a spiral slash.

"I could say the same thing about you!"

Sebastian yelled as he dodged the slash and then jumped into the air,doing a aerial spin in the air he brought his sword down with such force almost landing a hit.

But the figure blocked it,as he did sparks flew about as the two were locked in sword combat,sebastian knew he had to finish this quickly so the queen doesn't know about this.

With last attempt he gathered the last amount of his energy into his sword,his swings and slashes were getting more and more powerful.

"It ends here now!!"

He yelled and knocked the dagger out of the figure's hand,the figure then fell down onto one knee panting.

"You have may won tonight sebastian but you prepare yourself as time will come"

He said as he reached into his cloak and pulled out a smoke bomb,throwing it onto the ground it exploded smoke was everywhere.

Once it cleared sebastian looked around,noticing that the dagger that fell to the ground was gone so that meant the figure was gone for now.

"I will be waiting...."

He said and sheathed his sword back in,then looked out of the window into the night sky.
