Ship(s): Platonic Logince (or it can be Romantic either will work)

Warning(s): Slight panicking

Summary: We make it up to the steps before I slide my key-card down the slot, allowing the strong glass door to open. As Roman and I walk in, I turn around to see the creature whining as it's ears turn in almost every direction. It's pupils are dilated to an incredibly small size. The door begins to shut and as I go to open it again, the black and purple creature runs off quickly as something much, much darker than a shadow appears.

What it was is unknown to me but three, long and large claw marks appear on the glass door. What was that?

I am unable to sleep for the rest of the night, paranoia eating me away. What was that? Why was that creature scared of it. The lab had been rather quiet tonight. Restless, I get up from the air mattress and put on my glasses, waiting for my eyes to adjust before standing up.

I stretch, arms above my head as I hear a thud from the hallway. Confused as to who else is up besides me, I walk to the crystal white door, cracking it open seeing Roman outside in a jacket, shorts and a t-shirt, holding a flashlight. I open the door enough to see Roman completely and he appears to be panicked. About what is unclear to me.

"Roman?" Roman jumps as he whips around, facing me, look of panic becoming much more visible. He quickly rushing into my room, causing me to back up. He turns off his flashlight, putting it in his jacket pocket.

"Roman what're you-" before I have time to finish my sentence, Roman quickly grabs me by my waist, covering my mouth in the process, leaving me unable to speak. I attempt to pry Roman's hand away from my mouth, but his grip only tightens. I look at him, and he looks serious.

I stop struggling when I hear a quite sound. It sounds like clicking. Repetitive clicking. I look at Roman, confused. He slowly pulls his hand away from my mouth, bringing his hand to his, signaling for me to stay quite. I nod my head, as I suddenly feel dizzy. Roman appears to be dizzy as well, as his other hand is placed against the door while he closes his eyes, leaning his head back against the door.

His grip around my waist only tightens as I close my eyes as well, resting my head against Roman's chest, concentrating on my breathing. I open my eyes when I feel Roman begin to move. I look up at him, seeing that his eyes are still closed. I look over, seeing him reach for the door handle. He slowly locks the door hearing a small click.

Shortly, the same repetitive clicks are heard and I'm dizzy again. That's when it hits me. A creature is in the facility. How? When? I have so many questions. It scares me that I don't have an answer to them. My mind feels hazy as I watch the door handle slowly move. What is it? Roman comes by my ear, whispering.

"Move to the closet." Roman whispers quietly, as I nod. I slowly open the closet, walking into the tight enclosed space.

I watch as Roman quickly looks around my room before digging around in my bag, finding my pocket knife as everyone in the group has one in case of an emergency. Roman looks at the long, white dresser as he puts my knife in his other jacket pocket. He picks up one end of the dresser, slowly pulling it in front of the closet doors before joining me inside of closet.

The closet is darker than the main room itself, considering it had windows. I hear the clicking again, as I'm dizzy. I hear odd breathing as Roman walks over, slowly, sure to not make a sound. As my eyes fully adjust, Roman slowly guides me downwards into a sitting position. I'm pulled closer to his chest as he hides my face in the crook of his neck. He pulls out my blue pocket knife, as we hear the door bang repeatedly, causing me to jump.

What type of creature is this...and why is it in the laboratory?
