Chapter 5

During the party

Kuro and Florren are dancing to the music 

Trish is talking to some of the villagers

Ryku is sitting on a roof watching the party

???: "Your sisters said you have a habit of being on watch."

Ryku gets startled 

???: "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you."

Ryku: "No it's fine I should be more aware of my surroundings, I'm sorry what's your name again?"

???: "Oh my name is Lika, I'm the girl that you saved from the captain."

Ryku: "Nice to meet you, I'm Ryku."

Lika: "It's nice to meet you too and I want to thank you in person."

Ryku: "You don't need to thank me I just didn't want you or anybody to die by him."

Lika: "But you don't even know me why would you save me?"

Ryku: "That's just who I am, I'll help anybody I can but not the ones that cause harm or pain to others."

Lika: "But drives you to be like that if I may ask??"

Ryku: "What drives me is wanting to understand why I have theses powers, is to help and bring peace or bring destruction I don't know why yet but I will soon but until then I follow the path that helps people."

Lika: "Oh I see now, Ryku I want you to have this as a gift of thanks."

Ryku: "Oh thank you Lika."

Puts it on 

Lika: "I think it looks good on you, I made it from the stones found in the forest."

Ryku: "I might have to have visit that forest some day."

Lika: "I can take you there tomorrow if you'd like to?"

Ryku: "Sure thank you, Lika quick question do you use lightning magic?"

Lika: "Yes I do how'd you know."

Ryku: "Ever since I killed this dragon that we encountered before we found your village I got the dragon's powers and when I ran in front of you I sensed lightning emitting from you so that's why I asked."

Lika: "I see, I sense lightning coming from you as well."

Pulls out her grimoire 

Lika: "Here try reading this."

Starts reading

Ryku: "Yeah I can read it, you have some really powerful spells."

Lika: "Impressive you can read my grimoire only the owner can but it seems that your lightning powers are allowing you to read it as well."

Ryku still reading the grimoire 

Ryku: "Hey what's this spell: Surge?"

Lika: "It's a spell that increases your physical abilities but it drains your magic, but since you don't have a limiter to your powers I think it should help you out a lot I wonder if you can use the spells as well?"

Ryku: "Lets find out tomorrow in the forest."

Lika: "Sounds like a plan, what time should we leave?"

Ryku: "I get up early all the time so take your time in the morning."

Lika: "Okay then, would you like to dance."

Ryku: "Sure it'd be my pleasure ma'am."

Picks her up then jumps down

They land on the ground then join the other villagers dancing

—In front of the portal in the temple—

???: "So that's where you all went?"
