Chapter 17

Ryku's POV 

As I'm beating the crap out of Marcus I see out the corner of my eye that Florren is using black flames and I knew what that meant but I dropped that and continued with deafeating Marcus, all I could think about was avenging Lika but when I saw the black flames I took back control over my own body and grabbed Marcus by his throat, "Let's finish this shall we?" I said with pleasure seeing him struggling to break my grip. I threw him a good three feet in front of me and released a huge breathe attack with a radius of the moon blasting him all the way to The Emperor's Castle and a demonic roar pierced thru the heavens.

Trish's POV 

Florren's working so hard to bring Lika back, I look up and see black breathe attack from Ryku and I hear a demonic roar that's so loud it shook every bone in my body and just that scared me making me worry, but I see the breathe attack fade away and I see Ryku descending from the clouds and when he landed his body transformed back to normal and he passed out like he just died.

Xzadra's POV 

As I'm brushing my hair I hear a demonic roar echoing thru out the land, I look outside and see a black beam headed for the castle and I see someone in front of the beam being blasted by the attack, it was Marcus, the attack hit the castle and shattered half of the tower, I teleported to Marcus and when I got there I saw him covered in bruises and blood. "What the hell happened to you?" "It was Ryku, he fought in his demon form and it was awesome." He said struggling to breathe. I created a portal underneath him and teleported him to the infirmary wing of the castle, after that I look around and see the damage with Ryku's essences heavily lingering in the rubble. "Who the hell are we dealing with?" I asked myself as I walk back to my room.

Ryku's POV 

I woke up and saw that I was back in my room back at the village, I look at my body and I see a bunch of cuts all over me and I realized that they were from Marcus. I got out of bed and started changing into my gear, the door open and I saw Lika walked in and nothing but joy and regret washed over me, I ran up to her hugged her tight not wanting to let go.

Lika's POV 

When I walked into the room I felt a huge rush to my body with Ryku hugging me tight like he never wants to let go. "Hey how you feeling. I said hugging him back. "I'm so sorry that you died it's my fault I'm sorry Lika." He said with sadness in his voice. I pick his head up and look him in the eyes "It's not your fault so don't beat yourself up okay I know you feel like your responsible for Marcus killing me but your not." I said trying to ease his pain of regret. He starts to tear up but  he pressed his lips on mine gently, I kissed him back passionately and we went from gentle/passionate kiss to a little bit more extreme kissing were he bit my lip and his fang punctured it and a little blood started dripping but I didn't even care. "Hey Lika is Ryku awake yet?" Kuro asked walking in our direction. We break off from kissing, "Yeah I'm awake and I feel better than ever." I said hoping she didn't see us. "What's up Kuro?" I asked here trying to hide the blood in my mouth. "Oh Trish needs us in the kitchen to plan out our next attack." We all walk to the kitchen, "And for the record I saw what you two did." She said giggling.
