Chapter 9

Still Fused and the others find him in the open field

Trish: "Hey Ryku...who are you."

Ryku(Fused): "It's me, I just fused with Sera to defeat Hauko."

Trish: "Oh I understand now."

Florren and Kuro catched up with her

Florren: "Who the hell are you?"

Kuro: "Trish who's this?"

Ryku(Fused): "It's me Ryku I just fused with Sera to defeat one of the Generals."

Florren and Kuro: "Oh got it."

Ryku diffuses with Sera and return to normal

Trish: "So what now Ryku?"

Ryku: "First we need to bury the dead then help fix the village and finally head for the emperor."

Florren: "Why the emperor bro?"

Kuro: "Is it because he's evil?"

Ryku: "Yes it's because if the Generals are bad then he's no better so we need to ends this for the people here and find a way to go back home."

Trish: "Ryku's right we need to find a way back home but first we need to deal what's going in this world."

—Timeskip to the funerals— 

Ryku is watching from the roof on Shira's house

Tears stream down his face

Florren jumps on the roof and walks over to him

Florren: "Hey you feeling okay?"

Ryku(sniffles): "Yeah I'm fine just tired of losing."

Florren: "But we won the fight?"

Ryku: "At the cost so many of the villagers."

Starts crying

Florren sits next to him and lays his head on her shoulder 

Florren: "It's okay, things are going to get better I promise, we just have to get stronger so we don't lose anyone."

She reads one of the gravestones: "Shira was the strongest woman out of all of us."

—TimeSkip to the next day—

In the forest training 

Rkyu and Kuro are sparring 

Trish: "Hey Florren is Ryku okay?"

Florren: "What do you mean he seems fine."

Trish: "I don't know it's just that he seems to be motivated and depressed at the same time and he doesn't know what to do with those emotions."

Florren: "I think he's fine especially if he is motivated then that's a good thing because when go up against the emperor then he'll be at his best maybe even beyond that."

Trish: "You're probably right and maybe I'm worrying about nothing."

Kuro kicks him in the face and he crashes thru a tree

Kuro: "I WIN!!!"

Ryku(recovering from crashing): "Ouch!, What the hell Kuro I thought we weren't doing kicks this match?"

Kuro: "My bad I got excited, sorry."

Ryku: "You're fine, I wouldn't want you to hold back anyways."

Florren: "Hey Ryku can you spar with me next please?"

Ryku: "Sure."

Florren: "Alright but let's use our powers, I want to experience your surge for myself so don't hold back on my account."
