The Ancient Prophecy

~Chapter 1~

As the months went by quickly, Serena gave birth, to a brown-hair boy with red eyes. 

His name was Spark . He quickly grew interested into Pokémon, just like Serena knew he would be, but in her mind, that kept Spark laying in the dark. 

The person she was thinking about, was his own father. Spark went playing around with his own partner, which is a Pichu , as he was practicing one of his moves for a battle. 

"Com'on, Pichu, we can actually do this time." Spark said, to his excitement, as Serena smiles at her son's enthusiasm. 

"Oh, Ash, every time I see Spark, he resembles so much of you. " She thought in her mind, but she knew that Ash would return to them one day.

As she watches Spark, she notices her old travelling companion, Clement , the Gym Leader of Lumiose City. 

"Hey, Clement! It's awfully good to see you." Serena greeted the Gym Leader. The Gym leader gave her a small wave, as he came closer to her. 

"Serena, hey, it's been a long time. I see that Ash really outdid himself this time." He said, as he look at Spark . 

"That is not Ash, but Spark really does take after him, don't he?" Serena chuckles, as Clement asks, "You really didn't tell Ash that he has a son now? It seems like forever since I last saw him." 

The moment that the Gym Leader mentioned it, it really hit Serena to the core. True that Ash mysteriously disappeared since Spark's arrival, and Spark really didn't know what happened to him. 

Spark ask her one night as they were eating dinner, "Hey, mom. Do you know anything about Dad?" 

It really took her by total surprise that Spark would ask her that question, as she had no idea where his father was. 

"I'm sorry, Spark. I don't know where your father is at this point. He disappeared when you weren't born yet. 

I haven't seen him since I had you in my life." She explains to the young ten year old . 

That really gave Spark some motivation that he needed . 

Spark was lying in the ground, as his Pichu looks at him with a curious expression. "Pichu?" The mouse Pokémon ask. 

"I'm sorry, Pichu. I guess that I was lost in thought again. I still couldn't get it out of my head. What type of father leaves his own family like that? 

Without thinking , he could've been helping me with being a proper trainer. That's it! I couldn't take it anymore! 

I say, we leave Vaniville Town tonight and search for my father and bring him home. " 

He went to his room , and he packed the things he needed in his journey into his blue backpack. 

Pichu immediately jumps into his right shoulder as his trainer smiled at his little partner. 

"Thanks, Pichu. You are the greatest partner I ever had." Spark said. He climbed out of the window of his own room, without saying goodbye to his mother, without telling her that he and Pichu had decided to go in a search for his father. 

The pair walked through the night road, as they begin their journey. Then all of a sudden, in their greatest surprise was a Pokémon Center! 

"Wow, a Pokémon Center!" Spark said, beaming as he went inside. But as he and Pichu went inside, there was a commotion lurking in the noisy lobby. 

"Everyone , please settle down! " Officer Jenny exclaimed, as the boy went towards her with a curious look. 

"Officer Jenny! What's going on?" Spark ask the officer of wondering of what the commotion was all about.
