Ch.8 Christmas family get together part 1

Haley's point of view:

This past week has been werid to say the very least. Me and Cole where mutants. Donnie explained to us we had specific animal Dna and mutagen in our blood system. Cole had fox dna and I have dna of a dog.

Why did I get Dna of a dog and Cole got something Cole seems a little I unfair.

But I'm getting side track. As I was saying this week have been weird since we become mutants. First our diets and cravings had changed distratcly. I been craving bacon, hot dogs, sasages and dog treats. And I been drinking water like a dog. Don't tell any thoses last two. Cole craved alot meat and I mean alot of meat. He's been cooking rabbit meat into his japness food like putting cooked rabbit into his dumplings. Aunt Harley had take noticed we had eaten alot of meat loaf at dinner and she knew we didn't like her meat loaf so it susprised her that were wofing it down.

We just told her we been having alot of meat related cravings. So now she's making a meat plater for us.

And just yesterday when Cole was cooking dumpling stuff rabbit Aunt Harley went into the kitchen to see him cooking and test tasted one of them. She didn't even know she was eating rabbit but she thought it was good. Megan tried to tell her but I stopped her.

But we had alot more changes done to us than I relized like sharped teeth, sharp nails higheted senses, and some physical of features of that animal.

Currently we where heading to the premier theater to go see Bohemian Rhaphsody with Phoebe who basically begged us to take her to this film. April was with us, we talked as we entered the theater.

The manger of the Premiere Theater, Della approached us with a cheerful smile and opened arms. Della is an family friend of ours knowing Cole's mother

"Cole ! Come here honey give Della a hug !" Della said as she gives Cole a hug.

Cole smiles as he hugs her. Della looks at me and Megan and gives us big hugs. What you will notice quickly is Della is a hugger.

"Oh I'm so glad you kids are here"

"Who's this ?" Della asks looking at April.

"Oh Della this is our friend April" I said.

"Well if there a friend of the Evans kids, there a friend of mine, come here honey give Della a hug" Della said hugging April making her feeling awakard.

"Hey Della tomorrow is our annual get together you know what that means" Cole smirks.

"Oh I get to come !" Della squeals exited.

"Party starts at 4" Megan said.

"I'll be there honey" Della smiles.

The door bell rings and that meant the family had arrived. I could tell becauses there was shouts of exitment outside of the door, clearly more of my cousins or Aunt Janet who loved to party. Aunt Harley was basically rushing to finish appatizers. We watched from the living room.

"Megan don't let them in yet I'm done with the appatizers !" Aunt Harley shouts from the kitchen.

But Megan being Megan opens the door and my cousins Aunt Janet ' s kids rush in. And She has alot of kids like 5 kids.

"Whoo party !!!!" Cousin Zach cheers loudly.

"I'm gonna have alot of craney berry juice !" Cousins Spencer cheers.

"Appatizers are ready in the kitchen, boys" Megan calls up.

"Alright !" The boys cheered.

Aunt Harley grabs a broom and warns them to stay form her kitchen. Zach and Spencer back off.

"Come on guys join in on the coach" Shina Jade laughs as she sits on Milo's lap.

Aunt Janet comes in with her other childern Ava who's too sincaly
and sarcastic for her own good, Joey a wild child like his brothers and Perry was flirty and party animal, like he Praty too much and got arrested for reasons were not gonna talk about.

We give Aunt Janet a hug and hug my wild couisns and Ava.

"Yo guys I want you to meet my new girl friend !" Spencer shouts exited.

"Sweet who's the lucky girl ?" Masioa asks.

"Does she like queen ?" Phoebe asks exitedly.

"Yo baby get here my family wants to meet ya" Spencer said.

A girl with burntte hair and a broad look comes in.

"Hey" She said bluntly.

"This is my girl V..." Spencer said.

"It's Veronica" The girl said bluntly before heading to the couch and slumping down on the coach and got out her phone.

"Well the others should be here soon" Joey said looking at his phone.

"Which side ?" Ava said rolling her eyes.

"Both" Cole replies.

"Well in that cause, you guys wanna drink cinder ?" Perry asks.

"No Perry you promised" Ava snares.

"I didn't promise anything sis" Perry smirks.

"Fine get arrested again but don't cry to me about it" Ava complains.

After a while of greeting family members and my other cousins including my little couisns from Aunt Chiyo's husband side, my cousin Crystal and her baby boy, My uncle Jerry and my aunt Williuma who's a night club singer. I watch Cole and Jades translate for uncle Jerry as he commuicates with my other relives who didn't speak English.

I suddenly see a woman with blond at the door way. My heart filled with joy. Remember I mentioned that I haven't seen my mom in a couple of years and I only I can identify her by her voice since we have a long distance relationship on her phone ? Well the only thing I know of her physical appearance is that she has blond hair.

With out a second thought I raced up to the woman and hug her. She wraps her arms me, hugging me back. I felt so happy....

"It's hasbeen awhile hasn't it my dear" The woman said.

My eye's widen. That wasn't mom's voice ! My mom's is happy, cheerful, joyful, and warm. This woman's voice was smooth but slightly deeper, yet soft.

I tried to pull away from the woman but she kept in that hug by slightly tightening her arms my arms and back. I felt uncomfortable. I wanted to crawl away from this lady.

I feel her move her head towards my ear and lean down.

"I've missed you" The woman whispers.

I didn't know this woman. Yet she like she knew me. I wanted to say I don't who you or I'm sorry I think I mistaken you for someone else.

But I felt frozen I didn't know what to do. I...

"Haley ?!" A fimilar voice asks.

The woman finnaly let's me go as I see a shorter woman with blond hair that went to her shoulders. She has baby blue eyes, fair skin and a smile that brought comfort to anyone. She wore a pink dress. I knew the voice.

A smile came to my face.

"Mom ?" I ask with a smile.

She smiles happily as she rushes up to me and gives me a big hug.

"Oh Haley my little flower I've missed you" my mom whispers.

I knew this woman was my mother form her voice and warm persontie I knew over the phone.

"I missed you too mom" I whisper.

As I hugged my mom I notice the blond hair woman was staring at me for uncomfortable amont of time. Who was she ?
