men so tall like mountain peaks
i shiver just looking at themmen so tall with eyes so wide
they look like twin moons up in the skymen so tall they paint chapel ceilings
with two feet planted on holy groundmen so tall i could kiss their knees
men so tall i kneel in defeatthey love it when i shrink for their pride and
beg me to climb for their lipsmen so tall shout so loud
so i can heed their booming voices
like gods of soundmen so tall they pat my head
and fold in half exaggeratedly
to kiss my cheekmen as tall as skyscrapers
men as tall as lamposts
men as tall as apple trees
men as tall as memen so tall they claim me as their dolly
men so tall with tongues so wet
cold hiss
drop dripsaliva so cold it fell from god and now
travels down the bridge of my nosetear droplet so big it could fill a whole glass
and the men so tall they take one step
and end up in antarcticamen so tall they strangle the clouds with
football field fists
into giving up their rain supplymen so tall with feet so big
they accidentally trip over citiesmen so tall they can't see me
men so tall i stab their ankles
and bring them to their kneesmen so ignorant, arrogant, narrow-minded
thought being tall was something to brag aboutmen so tall they collapse like trees
when anyone chops them down—RB
